Who knows what Karen Faye is up to. I don't care if she testifies-Walgren will destroy her like he has done every other defence witness.

Waldman said that 600mg of demoral was regarded as the max daily amount, so mj's 200-300mg twice a week doesn't sound dangerously excessive to me, but can't say i'm a drug expert.

Anyway, waldman's amazingly belligerent attitude towards walgren, who's already established himself to be v polite and reasonable, must have ticked off the jury. It wasn't as if he was a blood relation to the defendant or had any vested interest, he was just a hired expert - is that how experts are meant to behave? It was extraordinary. waldman made sure he had nothing whatsoever to do with defending or explaining murray's behaviour so he's not completely stupid.

As for continuing to defend that ridiculous chart with different scales along the y axis for the different drugs, any schoolchild knows you can't do that. Why just not blame his poor secretary, he just came over as even more of a jerk than before if that was possible.

I'm no expert either but to me it only shows that he had high tolerance levels to demerol and not surprising considering his pain issues (as mentioned by Metzger) and he's continuing cosmetic and dermatological treatments.

Let's look to this example

we see 300 mg of Demerol but from the graph it looks like MJ got 14 filler shots around his eyes (eyes/eyebrows) on that day. Do they really expect him not need any pain medication while he was being poked 14 times around the eye?

She still hasn't popped up to give her denial about that? She's one sweet tweet away from McCartney at the AP and could easily deny his recollection for all to see. Yet still nothing, eh?

I'm guessing she will conveniently start denying it AFTER both sides have rested and the jury starts deliberating....calling it a stupid rumor. Just took a peek at her twitter and she's talking about ppl believing things without knowing. Sigh. It ain't rocket science. If it's not true...McCartney is a sweet tweet away. Correct him.

Shall we take bets on when the groundhog will come out of her hole and finally deny it? Bets on her not addressing it all? I wonder if she will be unavailable when it's time for that AEG law$uit. :)

Excuse my ignorance, I haven't followed anything Faye has said in recent years. What are you referring to?
 
I loved the irony of chernoff bleating to the judge that it would be useful to have klein or klein's assistants testifying in this case. Er, not half as useful as having actual medical records of his client, dr muray, detailing his care of mj which led directly to his death.

I wonder if the defense realised Faye wouldn't be any good as a witness after all? I find it hard to believe she's gone into hiding!

The defense allegedly told Judge Pastor they were dropping Karen as a witness cuz they couldn't find her to subpoena her; witness was unavailable. Karen's bffs are claiming this isn't true or is a defense rumor, craziness, yada yada as Karen would readily testify to the truth as she has been spouting for 2 years on twitter and facebook and god only knows where else (whether called by pros or defense). Karen, however, has not yet denied the defense tried to reach her and could not. She has not denied that she was unavailable to be served that subpoena. Now, granted, the defense could be lying to the judge, but you would think Karen would come forth and say that. She has chosen to not comment at all...either way. Did she make herself unavailable to be served or is the defense lying about even trying? It's one or the other. We got silence....at least for now.

so the last defence witness is actually the first defence witness that is actually relevent to their case.

But some of us were SO looking forward to hearing her testimony under oath...once and for all...and under cross-examination. Our loss. :(
