Again with the repressed memory BS? In one fell swoop Wade Robson has degraded himself from a respectable choreographer to the likes of Joseph Bartucci, who some of you may remember as the shortly-lived original "repressed memory" accuser back in '04 that even the incompetent Brian Oxman was able to disprove (although Bartucci still uses these 15 seconds of fame as part of his "portfolio" and brags about being mentioned in Diane Dimond's book). I wonder if Michael also pounded Robson's head repeatedly into the concrete as he did Bartucci's, thus explaining the lost and recently recovered memories (/sarcasm)?
I cannot imagine this case making it to trial especially given the exculpatory evidence Robson himself provided multiple times from the 90s onward, including under oath. Recall that Robson's mother and sister also testified under oath in defense of Michael Jackson. Robson's alleged abuse, as originally defined by Tom Sneddon's team, was a fabrication supported in chief by The Neverland Five--the group of disgruntled employees who happen to once again be making airwaves to slander Michael's name thanks in no small part to the wrongful death lawsuit Michael's family is pursuing.
Although it would be excellent if Thomas Mesereau would represent Michael in this case if it ever made it that far, any lawyer would suffice. You'd hear from the same exact witnesses that you did during the '05 trial (Ralph Chacon, Kassim Abdool, Blanca Francia, etc) and the same devastating cross-examination would ensue, where they would all be widely discredited thanks to their proven record of perjury, theft, libel... And then Wade and his family would be asked to re-read to the jury their court testimony from the '05 trial and subsequent remarks about Michael. You can bet the repressed memory shrink would also be grilled undauntingly.
It's disheartening that it isn't bad enough for the Jackson family and AEG to be rebranding Michael's image as a chronic drug addict (contrary to forensic evidence), so let's now throw in another patently false molestation accusation for good measure all in the name of money.
Also, for those unaware repressed memories as a whole are generally egregious. I think Professor Richard McNally of Harvard University
said it best: "
Repressed memories are the most pernicious bit of folklore ever to infect psychology and psychiatry."
Even
university studies from the 1990s discredited repressed memories in sexual abuse cases: "They often start by having a parent or other trusted authority figure suggest to the study subject the event is true. Not only have the first five subjects developed a memory of the false incident, she said, but they also often elaborate the story with their own details."
Unbelievable! So Wade has had amnesia for 20 years, how convenient. What a lowlife he is! Wade, congratulations, you are now on my sh*t-list! I hope Branca can sue his sorry ar$e for slander.
