Debbie Rowe Wants Michael Jackson's Kids Back -- Going To Court for Custody

Either Debbie has gone delusional or it's $$. Or both.

Even Snoop Dog is featured in the video. So it is a promotional thing.

Debbie Rowe is now adding Director to her resume. Lance Bass and Marc Shaffel are working together and this kid from Belgium.

It is a publicity stunt to promote Career's!


After winning the silver medal on ''Celebrity Splash'' the 16 year old teen idol Ian Thomas released his new single Rain that topped the Itunes Top Hit Chart after only 1 day of sales! This grabbed the attention of some key players in the American Music industry and Ian Thomas was asked to feature on the comeback single of Nsync hottie Lance Bass. Anise K who originally produced Walking on Air out of Australia was delighted to have Ian Thomas and Lance Bass on board of this hit single that already featured vocals of Bella Blue and rapper Snoop Dogg.

Now we have seen Michael's children working with LaToya Jackson and the woman who costarred with Prince back in the 80's, Appolina, and her talent agency. So maybe that's the ploy for Michael's children. Debbie Rowe and Marc Shaffel are offering Michael's children a better deal and all Michael's children have to do to get on board is be adopted by Debbie or at least let her be the guardian.

Thank you Jackson family for starting this mess. You should have done what Michael originally intended, protecting his children from Hollywood!

I think we can all safely say we now know the reason behind the whole custody rumour - to promote this young mans music which has Schaffel as producer and Debbie as video director.

Debbie could easily have called TMZ (she knows the number) and denied the story if it wasn't true or if it wasn't abt promoting this new venture.
 
Would you really be that diabolical to use your children this way? One of them tried to kill themselves last year and you would use them this way? That's just low

I just don't know if these people can really think such a media circus promotes anything. Though I remember that when the first news about Debbie and Schaffel's engagement came as a sidenote the fact was included in the article that Schaffel manages/produces (don't remember which) Lance Bass and a new album is coming out soon... But to throw your kids under the bus just to get Lance Bass and Ian Thomas mentioned in the media? Seems a bit too nutty. Even from Debbie and Schaffel.

I also doubt Debbie has any experience in music video directing. I guess they just call her the director because that draws bigger attention than if they said Directed by Marc Schaffel. I expect articles about Debbie's "new career" as a video director and of course putting these D-list wannabe's names into the context of MJ and trying to promote their stuff that way.

I agree. ALL of the kids (including Blanket) are old enough to tell the judge who they want to live with. I really can't see her making a genuine play for the kids-and thought it was just another money thing. I'm sure the ranch takes a lot of money to run-and this wouldn't be the first time. Also, the story sounds so crazy-it sounds more like a Stacy Brown story.

Now with this little singer, maybe it was just all a publicity deal to remind people who they are.

Debbie Rowe is scoffing at members of the Jackson family who claim she abandoned her children for Michael Jackson's money ... saying it's a class case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Sources connected to Rowe say Debbie expected Jermaine, Randy, Tito and Jackie to attack her when word got out -- via TMZ -- that she would fight for the guardianship of Paris and Prince.

Michael's brothers came out swinging, saying Rowe took Michael's money and then ran away from her kids and her responsibilities.

But our sources say Rowe is pissed but not surprised at the attack, insisting she never abandoned her kids. She says Michael constantly called her for parenting advice and she was always there for him and the children.

She also says Michael often told her the only sibling with any talent was Janet, and the others turned sponging off him into an art form.

Rowe -- who would also like to become Blanket's guardian -- is deeply fearful the kids have no proper supervision. She thinks Katherine is a good woman but way too old and slow to care for the kids, and she thinks Michael's siblings all couldn't give a crap and they are all bad influences.

Rowe believes MJ's brothers oppose her plan to seek guardianship because they know if that happens a huge chunk of the money Katherine gets from the MJ Estate -- more than $50K in child support -- will dry up.

Rowe is saying she wants to move the kids to her ranch in Palmdale, where she has a successful horse breeding business.

She's obviously promoting something or somethingS. It's no coincidence things are mentioned. Especially not on TMZ. Nobody's going to buy her distance with money this time when MJ isn't around. Not his estate and certainly not the Jacksons. I bet she's aware of that and if you can't cash it, use it for promotion. It's not over and something tells me she's not in any hurry to get the kids anyway so don't excpect any legitimate actions from her. She's not going to deny anything until its already to late to deny. She has Harvey on speed dial this bs could've ended with one phone call even before it got published.

I really doubt Michael would take parenting advice from someone who was not a parent. Yes she is their mother but she was never a real parent to them. That is not hate that is just reality.

She has no rights to Blanket and there is no way Prince will leave him to go with her. As for Paris, she looks a lot healthier and not all the darkness that she was wearing and looking. I think when it comes down to it she will be with her brothers. To me Debbie has no rights and in Michael's will he did not pick her to be guardian. He picked his mother and Diana Ross. For someone to have called her for parenting advice he sure didn't think she was qualified to take care of his children.

Yeah, Debbie is actually facing a trial that could send her to jail for 20 years for a crime she did not commit. That's exactly the same. Shame on you MJ fans.
 
Of course there are acceptable excuses (reasons). You just would not accept them.

To suggest that Debbie Rowe's actions should always be above reprimand, not matter what, is not reasonable.
 
Personally, I am not going to burn Debbie at the stake. Not b/c I don't see mistakes she has made, but b/c people can change and it's possible she loves Paris, who is after all the daughter she carried and gave birth to, and that should count for the possibility she is concerned about her welfare.

Someone taking a knife to themselves is not something to dismiss--Paris is in need of help that I do not see she can get from the Jackson family. If Debbie can keep Paris here on planet Earth, if Debbie can give Paris some support and love enough to give her a will to live, I am for it.

Saying that Debbie exposed Paris more to the media than the Jacksons did is just too ridiculous. One word: Oprah.

Just because Debbie did not put Paris on Oprah it does not mean her actions are better. She obviously does not see a problem with pimping out minor children to tabloid media, so I don't think she's above the Jacksons, just because she wasn't on Oprah. She probably wasn't on Oprah because she was never offered to be on Oprah. Instead she's being offered to be on TMZ and she is. Both sides use the kids for their own benefit.

Ouuuuch, that truth tho... :unsure:

The fact that the media has been alerted about this, gives me the impression that the kid's well-being is not at the center of any of this. These people are talking to each other through the press instead of face-to-face or in a phone conversation. If the kids didn't feel like pieces of meat up for public auction before, I'm sure they do now.

I'm sort of wishing they'd all run away from home to go live with some obscure relative... :no:

It contradicts her testimony under oath in 2005, when she said that before MJ called her in 2003 to ask her to be part of the "Take 2" Bashir rebuttal, she had not spoken to him or seen him since their divorce in 1999. So unless she means the (short) time period before that, or the years after the trial (which seems far-fetched), that does not seem to make sense.

You are putting everything Michael went through on the same level as Debbie recieving some critisim on a fan board?

Nobody here here has posted any untrue information, and in fact I have refrained from posting links to many other articles from way back. Just like with everyone it's a question of balance as I said earlier I will always appreciate Debbie's testimony and any time she publically spoke up for Michael, but equally I won't forget the times she hurt him either.

I did hope that Debbie coming into Paris's life would be positive, and maybe in private it is, but in public more and more we see photos and information sent to TMZ disappoints me.

And I'm sorry if it upsets you but I will not celebrate Marc Schaffel sharing any part of the children's lives.

You know Michael went through so much - he could have easily used his children to benefit his image one way or the other, he could have played out his 'daddy' side publicly- but he chose not to. His children were his, and they were off limits no matter what he went through.

He continued to disguise their faces in order to assure their privacy - although the media used it against him. Making it seem like he was some weird creep because he protecting his kids from them. He never gave in. He wanted to shield and protect his kids the way he was never shielded/protected, he wanted to give them that security. Michael was their security blanket with him out of the way, all the parties involved Jackson's, Deborah and other hanger on's have a field day using them whichever way to benefit themselves. We have seen what happened to Paris-Michael last year.

Prince has always kept his distance from Debbie, but Paris is her own person. Prince might have told his opinion to Paris but it was Paris' decision to decide what she wants to do with Debbie. He cannot control Paris just because he's her older brother.

But who knows what happened between Debbie and Paris since their very public "bonding".

I feel sorry for Paris because she's obviously in need of a parent figure after Michael's death, but she will have to be cautious with Debbie. It sucks so much that these kids cannot trust anyone. Just like their father Michael couldn't.
