Latest on MJJC

How did you come to MJJC?

dont really remember. i was a member of the mjjf before it became mjjc. this was back in 03.prob got the link from other boards i posted on at the time
 
When everything around june 25th was happening I searched the web all day every day to find news and I really liked this place so I joined.
 
I saw this place in 2008 but never knew what it had until I found that MJJC had a community board so I joined in jan 2009 :)
 
Well i didn't know this website untill now, i just came up with the idea to search for Michael Jackson forum on google for official website, Then I came on the official site MichaelJackson.com it seems that this is the biggest 1 so far, i don't know if i can mention other forums but those are smaller, So far everything looks very organizing and proffesionally made.
 
I've never been a forum person. Not even a fan community one. I never needed to. I grew up on a tiny island where loving MJ was like DUH! to everyone. I used to see the tabloid BS, but it usually just made me shrug or shake my head. It was so stupid I never thought anybody in their right mind could actually believe it.
But since June 09, for the first time, I've felt the need to be around people that would understand the tremendous pain I was going through. Took me some time, I tried different sites. And stayed here...
 
I came across this when I was googling information about the Vision DVDs.
 
I was a member at the MJNO forum when it closed, and people told me to join this cuz it was the best MJ forum, so I checked it out, turned out I had already gotten a membership here when I was younger, But forgot about it. I liked this site, I liked the tone, so I started going here instead :)
 
I don't really remember. That was a long time ago, in Mikage years...

Moreover, I don't enjoy forums, typically. Nor do I enjoy celebrity worship.

...but this forum has a different feel than most of the ones I've been a member of (none of which are celebrity forums.) This is still the only celebrity forum I am a member of, and the only forum I am a regular poster in. :p

The other forums I had joined got too argumentative/nasty for my taste, so I left.
 
I'm not a forums person either (celebrity or not), this being the only one I've been a member of :)
I think I came across mjjc on the tribute portrait site. I checked it out, liked it and joined.
 
After hearing the news of MJ's passing I was search for an MJ forum to send my condolance. I came acroos this one and MJJB at the same time. I had probs joining here. But thaks to a friend in helping me sign up I joined up in september.
 
I use to be on VH1 message board for Michael Jackson all the time, and one of the fans there suggested I go to MJJFORUM, was I kinda fed up with all the haters that were there anyway. I use to be MJ1fan234 and my account got deleted for some reason. I don't know why it's not like if I use to post anything. I use to only read the fans post cause I was kinda learning about Michael some more. I guest when you do not make allot post or comments the fans get suspicious of you. Oh well.....It was arond 2003 when that Bashir documentary came out.
 
I've been an active member here from about 2003 till 2006/2007. After that I started visiting less often, not because I didn't like it anymore. Just got very busy with other stuff as well.

When Michael died I really had the need to talk to like minded, as no one in my surroundings understood. So I looked if the board still existed, never really been a member anywhere else, this is where it all happens hahaha.

Couldn't remember my password though and the email address I used was an old hotmail account, which didn't exist anymore. So I just made a new account. Less anonimous. This is my nickname in normal life as wel.

The reason why I came back really sucks, but I haven't regretted it for a day. Sometimes I don't visit for a while, sometimes I'm very active. But I appreciate all of you here.
 
I was in so much pain when Michael died, and I needed people who understood where I was coming from. I thought coming to this forum would make my pain so much worse... but it may have saved my life. Losing Michael was like losing a close family member to me. He had been in my life nearly my entire life, and I never EVER stopped loving him since I was only 4 years old. I knew only Michael's fans were the ones who could comfort me and help me heal, and they sure did!! :huggy:

Same here. I was a member of MJJF and MJJO (I think around 2003). When MJNO closed I transferred here.
 
I was part of mjjforum.com for a while then it turned into mjjcommunity.com
 
I'm not sure...I was a member of another MJ fan forum but got in a fight with some ppl there and I left...I liked the idea of sharing and talking with MJ fans cuz I really don't know any around where I live so I looked for another one...I found one and joined it and one day I wanted to log in there and I typed something else by accident and found MJJC so I joined :D
 
I've been here since Febuary 2010 so I found this forum on Google. I typed in "Michael Jackson forum" and found this place! Thank God I did because I didn't have anyone to turn to after Michael's passing and I just had to see what other MJ fans were up to.

I was a member of MJNI... MJNO was my 2nd home and I was also a member of MJJForum... When I got net installed... That was one of the first sites I visited :D...
So, when MJNO went :swoon: I too got 'appointed' to this site...
Can you believe me I had to miss this site for awhile as my old PC didn't allow me to visit the huge :wild: forum??? :doh: Since I got a new pc though... I found this place again through a link on FB :yes:
 
Well, I was watching YouTube videos and I did read "Credits to Tino_MJ", so I commented, "Who's Tino?" and the guy answered "A member of MJJC", so I did reply "MJJC?", and he answered "MJJCommunity.Com"...
 
I first saw the name "MJJC" on a YouTube video, then I googled it and found this :) I lurked around for a few months before I actually joined, though.
 
I was a member of MJ.it, I've been there since 2008, but I did't like it, they quarreled often....so I typed in "Michael Jackson forum" and found MJJC :D
 
somehow found a link to this on MJEOL that was back in the good ole days almost a decade ago.
 
I don"t even have internet for a long time....2 years and 7 months actually.
I did not know much about all this stuff, at first I was just jumping around Internet like a crazy person..:).In search for Michael, of course.
I typed MJ Forums and I came here, but before that I"ve heard that this one is the best.
Ain"t that the truth !
I thought that all of us here will enjoy the hype and the hysteria of the upcoming shows and all the things that should have been. And then...it happened.
This is the place that gave me confort.
 
I'd been a member of Maximum Jackson for about six months before signing up here. I can't remember how I came to know of this place exactly, but presumably I came across a few mentions of this place there and decided to sign up here, lol. I love MaxJax more than is healthy (when it's not down for maintenance like it is right now), but it's good to have another MJ fan board that's quite active.
