Everytime one of these threads come up I get excited but then I am quickly reminded of the reality with MJ's live stuff and sony. All of out past efforts have gone furitless from petitions to "go.flying's" efforts with MJ's estate and wembley stuff.

Reality is that we will likley see a leak like Royal Brunei from 2nd leg BAD tour before we will ever see an official release (like MJ5 said) unless a miracle happens. It is really depressing to see not any MJ live project in Sonys near future list.

What we can likely expect is another BS greatest hits CD with 2-3 new songs or more crap from MJ's unfinsihed music, which of course will never be the same as MJ intended.

What a shame! One of the world's greatest live performers of all time and all we have is one official DVD to look at.

They should make ALL the BAD tour concerts available on MJ's official webpage.

That way fans could get all the best concerts, and it doesn't cost much to make a DVD or Blu-Ray does it? So it wouldn't be much of a problem for SONY to do so.

I want every single BAD concert. :)

I don't think we would ever get all Bad concerts:) It just wouldn't make sense for them, financially.

^^If anything it would help them if they made a BAD Tour DVD. Maybe putting all the things for the dvd together would cost them but in the end they would make a huge profit from this.

Their both ideal concerts to release, which ever one is chosen it should be a live DVD/CD or BLURAY/CD package.

Stars burnout, Legends are Immortal

In 2012 the estate will celebrate the anniversary of the BAD album, containing the original tracklist with bonus tracks and studio footage on DVD. The BAD tour will also be released that same year as a side project. It all has to do with certain rights I've heard. So there isn't a possibility that we will see this tour release before that. It is known that there are several shows recorded in the highest quality. The Wembley and the L.A. shows are two of them..

This thread is made for Sony and the estate to let them know which show we want the most. And let's pray for a double DVD/Blu-Ray release containing both shows...

I will be SOOO disapointed if they release '87 Yokohoma.

That would be the worst concert EVER to release!

Which concert was it Mike ran out and climped the hence?

Here's what i would like

Any Bad tour 1988 DVD with these special features

Rehearsal footage
Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground) (Live 1987)
Things I Do For You (Live 1987)
Lovely One (Live 1987)
Bad live with Stevie Wonder
Interviews with MJ during the Bad era in HD quality

I've mentioned several times that Wembley will be released in 2012. It was a part of the initial discussions between Sony and the estate. As for LA... I haven't heard anything on that, but Wembley is a go for sure.

I only hope that they don't pull the plug on this and decide not to release it

As for the LA concert, he didn´t perform Dirty Diana from what I can tell since it isn´t there on the tracklist when you download the audio concert that is from January 27th 1989. This was the last concert of the BAD Tour. I would rather have the Wembley concert if they only can release one of the two concerts just because of that song.

I'd have to say Wembley as that is where I attended most of my MJ concerts including Bad

I want both, but voted LA cause I WANT DIRTY DIANA IN TRACK LIST !!

Should you want Dirty Diana LA would be a very wrong pick it seems. :)

Smooth says we will get Wembley- that is ACE !!! :punk::punk::punk:

In what type of quality was this concert shot? On film?

Release the LA concert in the USA and the Wembley concert everywhere else.

This way people in America feel a closer connection to the concert and it could be easily marketed in the United States as MJ's last tour on home soil.

And the Wembley show is know worldwide so releasing it everywhere else, especially in UK, would work well.

Then you have thousands of fans who would buy their local one, and order the other one, so thats TWO sales.

I think the smartest and best option is to release both :) But not make both available in the same market - it has to be exclusive or it wouldn't work.

such a logical solution but sony wouldnt see it if it slapped them in the face.

Best idea posted here EVER regarding a BAD Tour release.

Very sad because it is so very true.

I guess Wembley 88', but I wanted Rome 88' even more.

which would make me very upset :(

I'm afraid that at the very last minute they'll say ''Hey let's not release Bad tour Wembley 1988 on DVD in 2012 but instead let's release a re-re-re-re-re-re release of Thriller once again but this time it will have a bonus track of Michael Jackson coughing into the mic during one of the studo sessions''
