Los Angeles Power106's Big Boy Meets MJ NEW PIXS OF MJ HERE!

You guys are welcome again. I went on youtube.com, typed in MJ and big boy and I saw it! :) BTW, it was someone who put theaudio on youtube. I just found it. Just want to make that clear.

I think most of the imitations are purposely exaggerated just for kicks.

I believe that as well.

I was kind of taken a back when MJ said that he never heard of the rapper Souja Boy. LOL. I know that he is in a certain age that could careless about 17 year old annoying rappers, but I would think, since he is in the music industry, that he would know who Souja Boy is. LOL.

Gurl, I know but I was just thinking that. Heck, I am in my 20s and I never heard of that rapper until people started talking about him. I heard the song and I was like, "WTF?" LOL.

Yep and now i've finally listened to the whole thing (the interview with Big Boy) and u KNOW that's true...cuz he said that they did the Souja Boy dance for Michael (and they have guts cuz i'd never embarrass myself like that. That's like telling the best dancer in the world how to do the cupid shuffle/ electric slide or something  ).....and Big Boy said MJ's reaction was like "Wow..." LOL

Basically that's all u need to know  WOW. LOL

And I bet they were acting a fool in there, singing the song too lol "Superman that ohhhhhhhhhhh!" And MJ would be like

I love the joke they played with MJ and the camera. That's a good one. I really don't think anyone would have told him to TAKE a pic instead of being IN the pic. That's just great.

And yeah it's just sooooo interesting to see MJ's perception of what other's think of his work or him (lightheartedly)....like when he said MJ said "Yeah I told you. When ever people think of Thriller they think of this (does the shoulder move)" Man I'd give anything to see that lol

I wish someone would be able to catch MJ in one of those moments. Ya know? Just no pressure, no harsh questioning, no interrogation, but just CHILLING with Michael Jackson for an hour or two and make it a tv special or something lol

Thanks to the link. This was great and it seems as if these guys really enjoyed their meeting with Michael. I'm glad that Michael seems to be having fun with all of this. He deserves it.

:rollin: I loved the clip of Big Boy talking about his meeting with Michael and loved your comments about Big Boys comments as well J5. lol I enjoy your comments in general. Yours and Timmys ever since that time right before the MJNO influx when 'attendance' was down. lol :D

Did you guys see the clip in the other thread of J5 with Michael singing Big Boy. I did not know about that single although I may have it on a cd somewhere that I haven't listened to yet. lol Anyway, I doubt Big Boy's name is a coincidence.

Right now I am listening to the all Michael AOL station and it is really hot. Michael's music everywhere. I think I am going to OD with a silly grin on my face.

Thank you! LOL I remember when i was younger me and my cuz would try to to imitate his voice lol...and I remember having to deepen mine, and just speak softly in a deep voice lol

He just isn't very loud, thats all. But he has a sweet soft voice, but it's not girly. It's still funny seeing people imitate it lol. I love it when Chris tucker did it in FRONT of the man at the Billboard awards in 2002

Yeahk, exactly. Michael's voice is just really soft, its not high pitched and he doesn't have that up turned sound that men do when they imitate girls, lol. People just don't know how to imitate Michael's voice, they don't know where to start, because it's probably the most distinct sounding voice, in terms of tone, I've eve heard, so they talk like a girl, lol.

 Seriously! I wouldn't even think about dancing in front of Michael, let alone doing that wack ass Soulja Boy dance, lol.

It is nice to hear about Michael just relaxing and being comfortable, because usually he's being pushed so hard and you can tell he just doesn't want to even be there, like when Billy Bush was interviewing him in Ireland, Michael was just like, not liking it, you could tell. He isn't comfortable in the spotlight when he's not on stage.

Hey, Ne-yo is very talented singer and songwriter. Don't lump him up with those two, lol.

Well, it WAS good, they were like in shock that he sat there with them and enjoyed spending time with them (how cool would that be???), and they couldn't get over that it was "Michael Jackson". It was good until the end with the nose part. That's just messed up and wrong. Ugh!

I feel you on what you are saying. The things that Big Boy said about Mike was interesting and he did not try to described MJ as this non-human person that a lot of people tend to do. He just simply said the MJ is a "cool dude". Which we all know is true. I agree with you, someone should do like a special on Mike of his just chilling and get to know Michael. Not ask him stupid questions that do not mean a thing to him or anyone else.

LOL! I cant believe he never heard of Soulja Boy! I knew Mike had 2 be kool as hell 2 hang out with. The end was wack doe. The Nose ding wasnt funny. I can take a joke, but it just wasnt funny. The pics, loook ight. I think he lost weight though. I think he should gain some more pounds to fill his face in a little bit, cause its getting very defined at the sides again. It wasnt as bad before.

4 The comeback, he's gonna prolly look mad fit, and firm!

O.K., I'm glade I'm not the only one who felt this way. :mello: It may have intended to be harmless, but....oh well.

yeah i mean u just met the dude, he was gracious to u, i would think u'd give the same graciousness back...but eh guess not. That's what' the nose joke to me said. It's like "u cool, I respect you as a star and artist, but i have no REAL respect for YOU as a person". I think it's really snotty.

THANK YOU! This is how I perceived it too. The guy makes all of these positive and fantastic comments about the man, and then has to shot it all to hell at the very end by going below the belt. Why not leave ignorant comments to those who want to be seen as ignorant? I really don't think I can take this guy for what he says he is.

You can sure as hell bet if Michael knows of the cheep comment that he made he would feel not only heart-broken, but straight pissed-off. See, now THIS is why Michael has such a hard time trusting people. :(

You can sure as hell bet that if any of us ever had the chance to meet the man we'd never betray his trust. -_-

O.K., I'll shut-up now, maybe I'm taking this just a little too personal but....can you blame me?...Ok. don't answer that...:mello::lol:

I am a very sensitive person and I don't like to see people get teased, but I had no problem with the nose job. I giggled cause I thought it was funny. The man gushed over MJ throughiut his entre report. He spoke of the tape on the mouth and did say he had no wish to disrespect MJ.
I think the last thing was as much a joke as it wasto ask MJ to take their picture.
Had he said MJ looked aweful with plastic surgery and his nose was falling off, I would have been offended, but he never talked about his looks in any negative way. I think the nose joke was something even MJ would giggle at, cause it was so ridiculous, I feel he was laughing at the people who believed it more than MJ.

I don't believe MJ would be pissed at all. I think MJ has a wiched sense of humour and he does laugh at himself. I see that in Ghosts, and in Leave Me alone among other places. Even the disguises MJ uses suggests to me that MJ can laugh at himself. The joke was not nasty.

This "nose" mention and other nasty remarks are reminiscent of the "Just Lose It" video, by Eminem, in which the rapper would start searching for his nose in the video, among other stupid impersonations (but at least Eminem apologized) and if I remember correctly, Michael was everything but amused by it, especially because of the timing with the trial, and he expressed his sadness on this topic in the interview with Geraldo Rivera, by quoting Stevie Wonder's words that what Eminem did was "bull****".

I'm sure that nowadays, though, as he confirmed in the Ebony interview, he just doesn't pay attention to these kind of things anymore, some of which him not even being aware of. But it still doesn't give anybody the right to mock a person on sensitive matters, especially after that person had given you kindness and welcomed you with hospitality and even were extremely patient with you - qualities that are so rare. And there were other periodic jokes throughout the interview that were very nasty and disrespectful, in spite of the light-hearted context and everything, which is not an excuse - and what that rapper had to say about him - except for the obvious good words - made it sound as though he was entitled to speak whatever he wanted to and take the meeting and Michael for granted.

It would be the same situation if someone else was involved, it would still prove disrespectful and cheap on behalf of the amused parts and if other people were adressed such comments like on-air, they would not take it lightheartedly at all.

I didn't see the Em video, I refused to watch it after I heard what was done, I was offended, but I thought it was because he alluded to MJ being guilty of the crime he was charged with why fans and Mj were outraged, in otherwords we were outraged by the whole package, which did cause an outcry within the black community as well as with fans. I would NEVER compare this with what Em did. No outcry from the black community or the fans here. Just harmless banter, I would say.

couldnt agree with you more ;) to me that guy was just in WOW to see THE michael jackson the superduper star, the most famous person in the world, the guy who did thriller and other than that he couldnt care less about the real michael jackson behind the mask of fame and success. this kind of ppl really annoy me. plus the guy looks very ugly to me how could he joke around about someone who is so beautiful and sexy as michael is when he himself is a real mess ?
i guess thats why michael was looking at his shirt and said "oh wow i love ur shirt" he prob couldnt stand looking at his face
anyway :innocent:

In the MTV interview with Sway, subsequently to the video, Eminem said:

"I never meant to intentionally diss or bash anybody"
"it was just pure jokes"
*SWAY*
"but you clearly made michael jackson upset"
*EMINEM*
"and i apologize for that" [...] - there are more mentions from Eminem afterwards that were even more respectful, but the thread is about the Michael-Big Boy meeting.

Perhaps Big Boy did not want to intentionally diss him either, but he alluded to things Eminem had, and Boy's voice impersonation was appalling and lame, just as the Blanket joke, in which he compared him to Penelope Cruz. So, there were jokes upon jokes of bad taste, suggesting a lack of manliness on Michael's part and I compare them to that video. And of course, I would advice everyone to check themselves in the mirror and try to envision living a similar life to the dissed one before dissing him. No matter how we look at it, lightheartedly or not, anyone else would be harmed by remarks as those, irrespective of their own sense of humour.

What's done is done, though, it is comforting to learn how more people's initial perceptions of Michael as a person are changing positively.

Edit: I agree, Roxanne.

plz correct me if i got it wrong but ur basically saying/implying here just cuz someone is black they cant really diss or bash michael ? thats news to me. didnt know the color of the skin has anything to do with loving or hating michael jackson. and u cant really make this type of "jokes" or any jokes actually about someone whos not ur friend and whom u just met one time.
michael is not big boys personal friend. he only met him one time and spent time with him at the studio. they didnt become close pals or anything.
what he did was totally uncalled for and inappropriate.

edit: and just cuz there was not outcry from the fan community doesnt mean it was harmless.

Roxanne, do not nitpick or twist what I said.
I said I have not heard any outcry from the black community or any other community. I DID NOT SAY BLACK PEOPLE CANNOT DISS MIKE.
Now I said I was not offended by what Big boy said. I thought it was harmless and even MJ would have laught at it. It is my opinion Rox.
