In fact!They knew what kind of questions they'd ask,and if not,they should have asked the interviewer to avoid certain matters,if they really did it to show his positive side(like we need proof lol)and "defend" him,they should have been careful and more sensitive...His kids and family are still here and deserve respect.

Just don't know anymore. These guys could easily be laying the groundwork down for their "tell-all" book by not appearing malicious in any way towards their client in the initial stages with all the heart-warming memories shared with him and his family. They could be telling the truth. With all these people so eager to put their names & stories out there, with/without compensation, it gets to a point where almost everybody's a suspect until proven otherwise. At least those who aren't sincere can't get to Michael anymore.

Well, everyone else around MJ is bent on talking.... at least these guys seem to be more honest about it.

Everyone jumps on the negative bandwagon right away but they denied he was a ****, talked about how smart he was, how great his kids were, etc etc.... if they are gonna talk they are gonna talk but I'm thankful they are being positive!

Did you see the reaction of the lady that interviewed them. They took someone really skeptical of MJ and turned her around and not only that but she was excited about these stories and how was more of a 'regular guy' than she realized. That my friends... is progress!! :clapping:

It was SO nice to wake up to that this morning and not some negative crap on him. In a way I'm happy they are talking.... someone has to truly defend him.... these guys spent two years around him every day, more than his family, more than his friends...I'm glad they became close enough to him to want to defend him. :)

It was a positive interview. But they obviously want to make some $$. But I think there will be of this Nightline tonight. I will watch hopefully I won't forget.

I never knew it was a taboo to kiss the person you were dating. Come on, he was around his body guards all through out the day, some type of comfortability level amongst them must have developed. well that's just my opinion

...saying that credit cards didn't work and such, doesn't sound positive to me. sure..what i heard on yahoo was positive from the guards, but the interviewer hinted at credit card stuff..and that a lot more is on the abc website. sure the stuff about the kids sounds positive. but the comment about thinking he was on something was not positive. sure, i believe the Paris thing..the note is in front of my face. but people have used stuff like that, before, to make me think that everything else they would say, would be true, when in fact, the rest of what they say, is not true.

the only thing i took from this, that i believe, is that the secret to how he died, is still a secret. i don't really need to see or hear anymore. and i don't believe everything the guards are saying. it's not policy for the big media to be positive about Michael. here is this woman trying to convince me that the negatives i heard in there, are positive? i don't think so. i'm just glad i don't have a tv.

they want to write a book. they're stupid enough to ensure they'll never be guards for anyone else. how can they be smart enough to tell the whole truth?

they are capitalists in the worst way. and i am a believer in capitalism.

you'll never hear Jennifer Batten get interviewed on gma. and if they do, it will only be after they saw my post, on here, in order to be 'clever'. it's too late now. they pick and choose their interviewees.

for those on here, who disagree with another's opinion, we can't give an opinion on the poster.

It all boils down to this, people are going to write books about Michael in the years to come whether we like it or not. And with all the crap out there (Halperin's book for example) more positive and truthful books would be a breath of fresh air. Those who don't like these people writing books, just don't read them. Everyone is different and have their own views and opinions.

I admit I was skeptical of these guys, I was like "Oh man, here we go," but when I heard the interview was positive I'm starting to change my mind. I've yet to watch the interview though.

sure i would believe he was 'cash poor'. i wouldn't even need to be told that by docs..cus i know he was smart enough to be cash poor on purpose. it sounds bad, but it isn't. but of course the media would like for it to sound negative. every wealthy person should be so, instead of blinging like some do. who wouldn't want to steal from MJ. or any rich person? that's why it's a good idea to be cash poor. but he had assets. then again, i don't believe 'documents', where MJ is concerned. as far as i'm concerned, MJ's money stuff is a secret.

And THAT exactly is the reason why I don't believe such a story from these bodyguards. The media is all over the girlfriend shit because that's ofcourse the interesting information they all wanna dig into and find out about.:smilerolleyes: Plus that's not the MJ I know, actually.


Don't know whether to like or dislike this interview....I think they were pretty positive and seemed to care for Michael, but on the other hand...maybe they were a liiiiiittle TOO excited. It's not good that such private information is out on the streets, about creditcards etc. and I think some of it is definitely made up or at least exaggerated. All for the attention? Probably? Not quite unthinkable if you ask me.

Well, at least they defended him for being called a weirdo. It's getting better, I guess we could say. :timer:

Okay listen, I just would like some of you guys to wait until you see and hear the entire interview before you conclusively pile on all the praises just because some positive stuff was revealed this morning. More will be featured on Nightline tonight and on GMA tomorrow morning. They previewed this interview with a negative slant, and could just be going in for the kill tonight or tomorrow.

One things for sure, I can't imagine how the hell Michael could ever act 'normal' and be himself if every move he made or words he spoke was gonna be revealed to the media by someone at any given time? There is a word called PRIVACY, all of us need it and Michael Jackson was no different.

Ahhh!! I'm so frustrated! I set this to record, but it didn't!! Anyone have the WHOLE entire interview? Youtube only has like 3 parts and I don't think it's the full thing. Was only a small part of GMA dedicated to the bodyguards?

why is it so incredible? Michael was a human being after all, wasn't he? doesn't make him any less great,cool,wonderful if he did actually have lovers. he was a gentleman, and he treated his ladies with respect. I AM SURE OF IT!

It was approximately 8 minutes. The videos on youtube that lasts for 7.47 is the full thing. and then there's extra 2 videos posted on their website.

I know some people don't agree with what they're doing, because, technically, they're selling their former boss out, but they seem to have a strong desire to want to defend Michael's honor and they seem really genuine. In that case, it's really nice to hear and see that. The stories are funny and they seem very much like him. While we are getting some not so positive stuff in the next interview, we all know that he did not have the greatest of staff at the time and the executors of the estate did state that his finances were all in a real heavy mess.

Even so, I still like to hear things like this, because they paint him as a human being rather than the freak monster that they normally try to make him out to be.
