I ADORE that song so much.:heart::heart:

It makes me feel better when life just feels like crap. And raise your hand if you wanted to HUG him and never let go as much as I did when you first listened to that song. At the same time, though, it makes me sad to think of Mr. Jackson missing out on as much as he did while he was probably on stage singing that song. :boohoo It doesn't seem fair

That song is such a work of art and his voice is also such a masterpiece. It's an incredible song and I'm raising my hand to your comments above.

This song is such incredible mixture of Michael’s angelic voice and so bitter lyrics, if you think of them from Michael‘s perspective as a child. The lyrics are just opposite to the reality of his childhood and I think it makes the whole thing so painfully ironic and it must have been too cruel experience for Michael to sing it. There is so much emotion in his voice that you almost feel his pain and longing to the safe and carefree world he could only dream of at the time. It’s the bitterest song I’ve ever heard and it always makes me shiver when I listen to it.

I have MJs version and the one done by Little Stevie Wonder.

This song is so great! Its actually very good advice for living...

"with a child's heart, go face the worries of the day....turn each problem into play...no need to worry....no need to fear....just being alive...makes it all so clear..."

GREAT stuff and yes Michael's voice is completely heavenly. He sings it with such a child's heart

What you wrote is so true.

I agree with you on that.:heart: I feel the same way about 'Smile' (even though that's not technically one of his songs.lol) It's the songs he's done like 'With a Child's Heart' AND 'Smile' that really help me get through some of my tough moments. Like when I miss my family and friends who're about 3 or 4 thousand miles away from me right now:( or when I just feel particularly frustrated sometimes. I just LOVE that I can just turn on one of those songs and everything is just instantly okay again.

I love that song too. It's so sad hearing him sing it though, and you can tell in Michael's voice that he just wanted to be like all the other kids :( Poor thing

and you ain't heard a Kid act match that intensity since. MJ made it all sound so magical and effortlessly.
