i hope,this has not been posted yet,,if it has,,im sorry,,as ive not logged in to d forum for some time.:)...just a small mention..still better than nothing i suppose,..when there is hardly any news on mike's new album

'being selective and picky with the new album' - this is a great tip-off here. I think it implies he's in the process of selecting songs for the album.
 
For all who are sceptical ...so it`s in operation or selection.

It`s a question of time when the album is finished. He wants everything perfect, this is Michael.

lookin back to older albums, theres barely any features, and if there are they take minimal space. i can just picture neyo workin on like 5 tracks with him, and then only 1 comes out, which has 2 lines from him haha.

I dunno. I love love love neyo's song writing capabilities and I think that's how he's gonna be featured on the album...not so much singing. I imagine MJ's gonna pick one of his songs to sing. Or maybe none. :lol: It seems like NeYo is backing off a lil bit. At first, he was like "YEAH i'm WORKING ON his album,"...NOW, he's probably realized MJ's gonna totally axe whatever ever he doesn't like, that includes ALL of his songs he submitted, so now he's kinda like "i submitted some songs but i dunno if they'll make" lol

I see this a DIRECT GOOD NEWS for several reasons (for all the debbie downers out there).

1. Obviously, it seems as if MJ has complete, and i mean complete control of this project.

2. MJ has a CLEAR vision of how he wants this to sound. Meaning he has a specific goal and he's aiming for it. And any artistic VISION that is in MJ's head that he wants materialized has GOT to be GOOD.

3. MJ is being PICKY. Even in regards to the new artists that he's working with, THEY aren't even sure their stuff is gonna make it. There's no "im working with him. Im gonna be on the album. Its official" except for MAYBE will i am lol. Meaning, again, MJ is doing this on his OWN.

4. The fact that Neyo seems to be backing off a bit on his assured-ness means that, and this is speculation, MJ must be close to finishing. I'm sure NeYo has been trying to get updates on the progress of the album and has probably heard MJ weeding off stuff, or definitely selecting stuff for the album, which would cause NeYo to be LESS confident about his stuff making it...which means MJ is in the selecting process. LOL

5. THERE IS a NEW ALBUM! :lol: There is no way mj is gonna be 'picky' about some songs he's dabbling with on his spare time :lol: MJ is not 'picky' about something that he knows will never see the light of day.

Sounds real promising i can,t wait to see what michael is up to. and yes he is so picky we all know that. I,m hoping him the best with his new stuff. Thanks for the imformation.:D
 
I hope this will bring back the faith to some fans. Michael doesn't wanna reveal anything, and I think it is cool! It's kind of like sweet torture,isn't it? You know it's coming but you've got NO idea when and what's it gonna be like. That makes it more intriguing.

i saw an interview of MJ i dont recall though, but it;s in youtube


he said that for an album he makes, he'd be able to make at least 100 songs... but only 10 or 12 of it make it to the album..


it's amazing, i dont know what happens to the other 80 songs.. LOL!

and MJ also admitted he's not that organized, like his tape recorders, etc etc..

It seems to me that if Michael had such a clear vision and knew exactly what he wanted, he would be able to do it himself instead of seeking the talents of others....
 
ill be more intrested when they have actually done some recording . it seems to be at a stage where artists are just submitting songs to mj and thats it. nothing else goes on from there like with legend etc.saying hed submitted songs and then never heard anything since
 
He has been recording since the autumn 2006. They were in a studio in Ireland. I was on Access Hollywood.

I gave a POINT-BY-POINT outline about why this news is NOTHING but positive. yet people some how, some way, find a way to 'wha whaaaaaaaa' it. OMG. It that like a new X-Men power or something? WTH?

1. Ever considered that MJ's clear vision INVOLVES other people? eh? That MJ likes to incorporate diversity? That MJ wants to mentor and teach someone something (per James Brown *rip*)??

2. In the quotes thread, Will I Am has already said songs have been recorded and completed. If John Legend ain't heard back from MJ, then he possibly didn't make the cut lol If the song is already written then there's not much to do except record. So mj could be looking a songs from other artists and if it blows him away, it shouldn't take any time at all to record and put it on the album. So if Neyo keeps giving MJ songs and MJ is debating which songs the keep or throw away, that means he's in the selection process. Meaning THIS IS GOOD. lol

I can't wait for the album! it seems that MJ is really working his ass out! you can tell by the lack of news from him! its like he has locked himself in a room and works constantly...as somebody said...its like giving birth...

Yeah, this is what I was wondering.....where is John Legend in this thing? I really like his style and I hop he gets his songs on the album. I really can't see his songs not being good for Michael.
