Theres bound to be some concerts us fans don't like, for me i would chose the Bad Tour Yokohoma its more like a Jacksons Concert without the Brothers and hardly any MJ solo stuff :huh:
 
Its hard to say.....im going to choose either History tour Copenhagen or Finland.

Although I still love them and Michael is great as allways.

Sometimes it looks as if he cant be bothered and theres a lot off pointing to different directions in substitute for dance moves :S

Although I think his voice is better than the 1st leg off the tour.
 
Have you guys actually seen different concerts of tours?

I've never done that LOL. I've seen one, Auckland for HIStory. Not any more for HIStory.
 
IMO Bad and victory tours are the best, followed by Dangerous and then HIStory. One of the worst must be the MSG 30th Anniversary Concert. The more raw, and "live", the better. HIStory tour didn't have much soul, and i was disappointed when i saw it
 
History, hands down. He lip synched too many songs and didn't really seem like he wanted to be there. I just don't think it was as good as his other tours. I hardly ever watch footage from the History Tour.

I think the same, but I would say 30th anniversary at MSG was the worst IMO. It's like that Michael wasn't the same Michael... :sad: I hardly watch that concert.
 
I would say HIStory is the worst solo tour :yes:

MSG 2001 was a joke (esp. Night 1) :lol:

Bad Tour is a Masterpiece :wub:

PS. Brisbane is better than Yokohama :)

WHAT??? YOU MUST BE JOKING! THE Copenhagen Tour is one of Michael's best from the History Tour, the popping and locking there is outrageous!
I love that concert!
ANYWAY I would have prefered a title like, "whats your least favorite MJ Tour" instead of the word "worst". But thats just me ofcors..
 
Many factors need to be taken into account.

From a dancing perspective. HIStory was probably the best.

From a singing perspective. Bad Tour was the best.

If you want both worlds. The Dangerous Tour is for you.

My opinion is that Michael dances just fine on the Bad Tour, and seeing as he sings pretty much everything live (and superbly), well thats just damn good value for money. I'll be annoyed if it never gets released on DVD.

I agree. What's with all this negativity around Michael, especially lately? It is all right to accept different views on things, but since there is 'not much interesting' news on his new, fresh musical achievements, we have to always, somehow, squirm the past for more negativity? When you say "worst", that means there were other endeavors of his that were: bad, then they were worse, than worst. A tripled negativity. Anyway, it's your way of seeing things. But the title is pretty negativity-focused.

Michael was unwell in the History tour, added to that, he dealt with serious throat problems, but still managed to dance incredibly well. Also, during "Dangerous Tour", he felt terrible
and had many problems, including eating issues, and he was forced by the conjectures to oblige and honor the tour, and still managed to be wonderful in it. But that's, of course, an opinion. At Michael's 30th Anniversary concert, he was dealing with severe back problems and other health-related issues, so don't come here calling his representation a "joke" disregarding or being indifferent towards the context in which "worst" things you didn't like occured; 'worst' performances in this case have nothing to do with his inability to perform anymore; in spite of 'not being himself' at times, he delivered great performances. Just as he said, he had to be there on stage for his fans, and forget about any pain; you are the reason why he is trying his best, to the point of him aggravating his health, so it's no wonder, that when also his sheer perfectionsim is added, he feels very reluctant to do tours and when he does, his fans are always on his mind and the pressuring need of serving them as best as he can as an artist, and he is an outstanding one. If he had postponed all of these projects, many would have complained that he is a thief and a fraud or a has-been, so it's like a vicious cycle.

Stop being quick to judge a representation of a person by its immediate flaws. And, by the way, I think posts that discuss personal tastes are bound to result in conflicts, because not everything some may perceive as great is perceived similarly by people who view something as the worst.

Some concerts are better than the others. But I wouldn't start to rank them, every concert is a unique and wonderful in their own ways. And what I've seen, no one has been complaining and crying (because of disappoinment) while being in his concert.
 
I'll go with Alma with this....
you guys love saying "the worst" lately about the Michael's achievements, performances and so on

that's laughable

Yeah,that was pretty bad i'm sorry to say. It's painful to watch at times actually but it was clear Michael wasn't feeling well during MSG, so you can't really blame him. He really was trying his best that night and was giving his all, but things were just not going his way.
 
Every concert is different and he often displays a different mood or energy on each one. Eg. Yokohama 87's energy is completely different to Brisbane 87's energy. Same with Sydney 96 and Gothenburg 97- each concert has different quirks, moods, etc. I couldn't pick a "worst concert" - I don't think any of them are in the "worse" category. :huh:
 
Actually i thought that Michael's singing on MSG was better than his singing on the HIStory tours. Just listen to The Jackson 5 Medley on the HIStory tour and then listen to him Singing with his Brothers on MSG

yeah I thought parts of the show weren't very good
he did look sick. actually it kind of looked like he couldn't see or something. his eyes were closed most of the time
it made him look not very lively.
 
^^^It was really strange, if he didn't know the lyrics. His hands were always in front of his mouth. It was so embarrassing to watch. Seeing the perfectionist in such a situation was/is painful for me.

Then, with all due respect, don't watch it again, if it creates so much disconfort to you. I assure you Michael was in a lot more personal disconfort performing than you watching his performance or than the audience, many members of whom actually enjoying it.

You already said in your previous e-mail you didn't like it, there is no need to repeat yourself, we got the point.

The HIStory Tour is definitely my least favourite tour, in comparison with the Victory, Bad and Dangerous Tours. Too much lip-synch, replay and repetitiveness.

Um, well in case you haven't noticed the title of this thread is "What do u think Michael's worse concert is"? So we're all right on topic, but I don't think that you should tell Kinga or anyone else what they should or shouldn't post. No one here is being rude about Michael, we are just being honest and last time I checked this is a discussion board so we should be allowed to express our opinions and thoughts about Michael, even if they're not always positive. As long as everyone is being respectful then I don't see the big deal really.

And I said a few posts prior to this, that he was having health issues - as on other tours and concerts he made - , for instance on his back, so, of course, he might have needed painkillers to soothe his pains. By the way, Michael's health and his children are topics that are not permitted on this forum, so I shouldn't have approached this first issue.

Yes, I was on topic actually. No one is saying anything that isn't true nor has anyone said anything that was particularly rude, but if you are so bothered you can always use the ignore button. Anyway, you complaining isn't going to stop me from writing what I want to write even if you think i'm repeating myself so just give it a rest.
