With all these people coming out saying how much they loved him now that he's passed, I was just wondering who actually stuck up for him during the trial?

I've got

Macaulay Culkin
Emmanuel Lewis
Liz Taylor
Chris Tucker
Eddie Griffins
Steve Harvey
Rick James
Stevie Wonder
Stephanie Mills

Anyone else?

Usher, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Amy Winehouse, R Kelly, Black Eyed Peas are the ones I can think of for now.

He spoke out a load of times, only got this one at hand though, ''He's black, rich, and famous and they have nothing better to do. As soon as you get famous and black, they go after you"

And sorry if there's already a thread like this.

How did yall forget LIZA? lol

Also Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, David Gest and ex-husband of J.LO and backup dancer of MJ's HIStory tour and recently the VMA tribute to MJ and Janet, Chris Judd!

Can we add Whitney Houston to the list? Did she say anything publicly?

We now know that she was trying to support him by calling him through out the trial.

Usher, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Amy Winehouse, R Kelly, Black Eyed Peas are the ones I can think of for now.

Wait, was Amy Winehouse already famous during the trial? i thought she was more recent like 2006 or 2007.

Thanks for the Rick James quote.

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Phil Collins
Will Smith

Do you have quotes for any of these? Especially Arnold and Phil.

Didn't Gregory Peck support him? But he died.

Peck died in 2003. But I know he was a friend of Mike's; you can see him in PHM. "I love you Michael, but never again."

Here's a bit about their friendship and Gregory's support of MJ from Gregory Peck: A Charmed Life:

Michael Jackson was one of Greg's steadfast friends. The day following Greg's death, the pop star visited Veronique (Peck's wife) and helped her plan the memorial service. The two men had been close for 25 years. Suprising to some, Greg was an outspoken defender of Jackson as a parent.

The bond was forged when 'The Gloved One' rang him up one day and asked to pay a visit. 'He had actually memorized all the dialogue in To Kill a Mockingbird,' Greg recalled, 'and he was full of questions about it.' As their friendship deepened, Greg accompanied Jackson on horseback rides at Neverland, the superstar's 2,600-acre ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley.

While Greg was all but canonized as a model parent, Jackson has drawn the world's wrath as an accused child molester. When accusations against the singer surfaced several years ago, Greg and Veronique praised the star in an open letter carried on Jackson's website.

Telling of the happy times the Pecks had spent with Jackson as well as with Prince Michael I and Paris (from his three-year marriage to his dermatology nurse Debbie Rowe) and Prince Michael II (by a surrogate mother), the Pecks said: 'We and our children, who are of your generation, have always admired you as a loving and caring father.' Greg also gave a glowing video tribute to Jackson at the singer's 30th Anniversary Celebration held at Madison Square Gardens in 2001.

I also think Whitney Houston should be added to this list.

I can't remember the exact quote but i think that Phill Collins said ''The reason why Michael feels so connected with Children is because when children see him they see a human being. When adults see him they just see money''

and i think Arnold said ''I know that Michael Jackson is innocent and i put my full trust in him''

Why are you guys forgetting several of the main people at Motown who supported him: Berry Gordy Jr.
Diana Ross
Gladys Knight
Dionne Warwick
The Osmond family

But please help me out, I don't remember hearing anything from Sharon Stone at all. I don't think Amy Winehouse was really around then or not that big here in the US yet.
