Am I the only one that noticed that MJ has got a new title?

personally, I prefer 'Maestro'. King will always be argued and belittled by other people who ... well, the King title just comes with too much baggage for my taste. There, i said it politely :D :innocent:
I love the way Maestro fits on Michael.

And I can't even bear to read the thread about him writing CLASSICAL music because it will only upset me to think about how much we have lost by the world discounting Michael's worth or stereotyping him.

I used to mainly listen to jazz and classical before I 'discovered' Michael. All of his music is layered just like classical music is. Its intricacy displays his genius.

I wouldn't call him the king of entertainment as he hasn't done many movies or acted in many to be called king of entertainment. There are better actors and actresses than him.

Ouch!! :mello:

He just hasn't been offered an interesting role yet. When you see him act, he does have the ability to sustain the audience's attention. He's very grounded with his lines, he holds his character and sub-text well....I think he'd do a fantastic job in the right kind of role with the right material.

God, look at Janet...she got an award for her recent role...amazing acting!!

Just wait hun, the best is yet to come! ^_^

I like King of Music...or King of Entertainment...

or how about.....THE GREATNESS! LOL, thats my favorite..if you see a poster at any fan event with that on it...its me.

I suggest Michael fans refer to him as King Michael from now on so that it catches on. If you comment on an YouTube video don't say "MJ is the King of Pop" say "MJ is the King" or "King Michael is so awesome in this video". Just make it become second nature and soon it will catch on like "King of Pop" did.

I agree. I have been saying that for a while. It should have been so when Mj was crowned in Africa by those tribes. He is a real crowned King anyway so it isn't like we are making it up.

tru that, who needs the 'sir' title when you have been crowned and honorary King **SNAP**

Yeh, that is true. I do recall reading something about MJ being appointed a King in a African tribe that he believed his family originated from or something.

I didn't say he CAN'T act, he can but just because he can act doesn't mean he's the best actor ever/out there. Look at the history of film, many actors are better than him. I think Janet's a better actress than Mike.

I am AMAZED again and again EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch MJ sing as a kid.....His talent just blows me away every single time. And not only that...when ever I watch the old footage it becomes more real how LONG he has been in the business and SUCCESFUL at it too...and it just blows me away!!! Michael is just AMAZINGLY talented and he truly is one of a kind. And I LOOOOOVE him!!!

I've been saying "The King" instead of just saying Michael or "Jackson" to my friends, and you know, just putting it out there in the universe, cos that's what he deserves to be called. It's good to know it's catching on in the industry as well.

I love the way Usher says (at the end of the video for What More Can I Give) that Michael is the King. (To us fans that is "well, duh!", but it's nice to hear some open, honest words like that.

I really respect those artists who admit that Michael is the King. Others, like Paul McCartney just piss me off. :p

I was just watching some of my old MJ videos....and I came across a news report that had my King of Music banner blended on the background behind the reporter when they were reading the news!!! :kickass:  I had totally forgotten about that one!!! I wish I could get a screen shot or could post the video....it was on some German channel on the news right after the MJ & Friends event in Munich. You just see the reporter and then my banner that says "KING OF MUSIC Because of Michael children have hope for a better world" in the background!!! YAY! :kickass: I'm just wondering how they got teh close up pic of my banner though.... Oh wait...there was one reporter "zooming" at me at MJ's hotel during the press conference before MJ & Friends...so maybe it was then...Weird.

I think The King Of Song and Dance is a much better title, or King Of Entertainment. It's nice that they're calling him The King, though. :)
