Well I wanted to join this thread and discuss the show
but to much hatefulness and negativity in here against
the contestants .. very RUDE _ I dont get it

Great line up so far ..

Basically from what I've read so far on this thread it wasn't meant to be a discussion about the contestants.

It was all about whether Michael was going to be on the show.

There's an actual AI thread on another page, "Music Makes The World Go 'Round".

But I don't think you'll find much better reception there either.

I'm not a fan of either contestant...that's why I'm not watching the show this evening.

Actually, I shouldn't laugh; even they make the AI contestants look like amateurs.

You know, suffering through the absolute lamness of this show reminds me just why I hope Michael never actually appears on it.
 
I like GM, but damn! HE IS NOT THE BIGGEST STAR IN THE WORLD!!! Give me a break! :lol:

But GM did a good job, he sang the song that Carrie Underwood sang on "Idol Gives Back" this year!
 
just to confirm, its GEORGE MICHAEL who is the big star they were hinting at. He is performing right now the contestents!!

I had to turn it off, it was too painful. I'm glad it wasn't Michael either. I pray to God he never appears on Amateur Idol EVER, lol.
 
I am so glad that I saw that clip on E! with that George Michael image, otherwise I would have been FORCED to watch that awful spectacle of a show.

I've got Kobe and the Lakers taping on TNT and I'm watching CSI-NY now. LOL

My goodness, I'm happy I didn't tune in.

they cldn't use an outline of mj cuz he has the most obvious one in thebiz. or peeps would think it was chris brown or justin! lol

Man, dude, you are on fire! LOL. That was funny. I loved the show and DAMN I cannot believe the hate that AI is getting from MJ fans. Half of y'all could not do what those brave 12 people can do: sing in front of millions of people in America. LOL. And that Michael Johns was looking SEXY for his married (DAMN) self! I just wanted him to strip!! LOL! :wild: Ok, let me stop!

BTW, the young man in the braids/dreads, Jason Castro aka Eye Candy (that is the nickname that I call him) is hispanic, not white.

Duh, Mike was not gonna waste his time on that finale. I mean, he is too big of a star to even show up. You guys should know by now that Paula is a bit loopy and she says a lot of things. That is why I do not even trash her. Why should I? I do not believe anything anyone says unless it was confirmed. She was trying to create buzz so that people would tune into the show. We will see if it worked when the ratings are revealed. When it is mentioned that the biggest star in the world is coming on the show, a lot of people assume it would be MJ. I mean, George Michael is the biggest star in the world? If that is the case, then maybe Elvis true is "King". LOL. PLEASE!! Plus, who, was like me, watched George Michael sing and thought that maybe, just maybe it was just not his night? Just asking.

BTW, I was shocked as heck when my man David Cook won!!! Wow!! I was soooo happy! :wild:
 
You're right. I wouldn't want to make a total ass out of myself by pretending I'm good enough for a recording contract on live TV.
