Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor"

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

That is exactly what I saw in front of my inner eye if he had testified. They would have had to make use of those bailiffs. That face without "expression" was just that, a mask. I didn't find him expressionless, he looked exactly like someone who is extremely pissed off, but wants to give the opposite impression. And his expression slipped a few times.

Yes his expression did slip, his eyes were something else. Judge Paster often observed his demeanour he saw most of what we saw.

Millions of people must have these ratings boxes then. Channels like to brag about which shows get the highest ratings and they count them in millions.

LOL No, "millions of people" don't have the Nielson boxes. Ratings are determined by a SAMPLE of the population, and are just an estimate. From the sample, the total number of viewers is ESTIMATED.

Moving right along. . .

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 10, 2011 -- /PRNewswire/ -- Jack Wishna, Founder and CEO of rockcityclub.com, and a friend of Michael Jackson, joins the Jackson Estate in calling for NBC Universal to cancel the airing of "Michael Jackson and the Doctor - A Fatal Friendship" set to air Friday, November 11, 2011. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the pop star this week, and Jack Wishna wrote in a letter to MSNBC that the documentary is an attempt to glorify the actions of Murray and is giving Murray, a convicted felon, a platform that he refused to take in a court of law.
Friends for over a decade, Jack Wishna and Michael Jackson also worked together to help develop new musical talent. It was Wishna who convinced Michael to return to America after 18 months in exile, moved him to Las Vegas, Nevada, and worked with him to create the "biggest comeback in the history of entertainment" along with the programs that eventually would become rockcityclub.com, the creator of the first Social Music Network. This collaboration of Michael Jackson and Jack Wishna continues to help many aspiring musicians and artists that come through the rockcityclub.com platform.
"Michael was a very caring and trusting human being and it is horrible how Conrad Murray took advantage of Michael for his own gain, and did not care enough about him to help him through his pain. And now NBC is giving Murray a reward by focusing a show on his opinions and views and having him further tarnish the image of a great talent, human being and humanitarian," said Wishna.
"It is our hope that NBC Universal and MSNBC will show compassion to Michael Jackson's family, his loyal fans, and the many real friends Michael had and reverse their decision to air this unnecessary documentary," added Wishna.

Given Murray's demeanor and attitude, I wonder how Michael never saw it with Murray living with him every night for two months and their relationship over the past two years. Not to mention how he blew up on poor Kenny for simply voicing his concern. My only explanation is that Michael worked with people like Murray for so long, that his sudden temper flares didn't bothered him.

MSNBC TO LA TOYA JACKSON
Go Pound Sand
We're Airing the Doc Murray Doc

La Toya Jackson made a valiant effort to stop MSNBC from running the Conrad Murray documentary Friday night, but in the end business is business and the network will air the show.

La Toya tells TMZ ... MSNBC Prez Phil Griffin responded to La Toya's plea directly, but she says, "due to their first amendment rights, I am unable to prevent its airing."

La Toya wants viewers to put anything Murray says in perspective, saying, "What I would encourage the public to take away from the situation is that Michael is an irreplaceable artist and human, whose talent and love for the world will forever go unmatched."

^^I think one box in a family is equivalent to X number of views. Does any one remember? I had a marketing class on this in my youth but I can't remember all the details now.

So basically from you guys it seems Muarry made himself look foolish, showed his anger, talked about some private things (if you believe they are true), and shifted the blame to others. Nothing new here. Now I am waiting for the creditors to call on Muarry and see what the judge has to say about the gag order.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

You couldn't pay me to watch this.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!
Haven't seen the docu nor plan to see it but by all reports this has to be the mother of all boomerang. And people that can't differenciate and perceive lies versus truth are not very smart and I feel sorry for them going through their own life so clueless.

I sooo hope Judge Pastor sees this disgraceful excuse of a docu and realise he must make a statement to restore fate in the profession of being a doctor or a lawyer and give this pompus ass peacock maximum sentence. He should also fine the lawyers for participating in this.

They usually find someone to do it for them- i.e. 7 children later and volunteers in the office. And they will not hesitate to take.everyone.down.with.them when they are backed against the wall.

A lot of people felt some kind of inexplicable sympathy for Murray- know they are gonna watch that, think about their own medical issues and imagine with horror if their doctor would talk about them this way. Might be a very painful blessing in disguise since Murray is literally digging his own grave. Quite literally. People didn't believe him to be the sociopath that "rabid delusional MJ fans" stated him to be. Now they can see that for themselves. Nasty, nasty stuff.

And MJ has tons of footage of being kind and loving- while those clowns drop the f=bombs and expose themselves as the vulgar vultures.

Man, what a boomerang. This stuff will haunt him, eternally. He put a nasty legacy on film so that future generations can see for themselves who the real victim was.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

I've heard from those who have actually seen the thing in whole that it paints Murray in a rather negative light. Of course, not having seen this, I cannot confirm these impressions. However, if so, then at least the world will get to know him for who he really is. The guy is sick.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

It is called BLACKMAIL. What if Murray would leak that to the press if MJ dumped his ass? smh

This was the plan obviously. Murray knew he was over his head and had refused to partner with the other Doc so he was getting shit on Michael that he could use later on when he'd eventually be fired for his incompetence.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

About Qunicy remarks about the verdict (I read that in MJJC): I can't believe this old bastard is still holding this stupid grudge against Michael after all these years.

Michael would have been a global superstar WITH OR WITHOUT Quincy by his side.

Like Erika said, with friends like these, who needs enemies.

Some letters are more important than others, but few will be as important as a letter to a judge. Take the time to address it properly and it will serve you well

1 The first line of the envelope should be addressed to "The Honorable Judge [First and Last Name]. " You can abbreviate "Honorable." Example: The Hon. Jane Doe

2 For the second line, include the official title of the judge (for instance: "Associate Justice" or "Judge"), add a comma, then include the full name of the court. Example: Chief Justice, United State Supreme Court

3 Use the remaining lines for the address of the court.

4 The same full address is repeated at the beginning of your letter, which should be in a standard business format (see Resources).

5 Use "Dear Judge [Last Name]" as your greeting.

6 Proofread the address carefully before submitting for the mail for typos so that it can be delivered properly. If handwritten, be certain all letters are legible.

Thx. It's incomplete though. Not sure how many parts after are missing?

But, from what I seen so far Murray is as we all know a nut job. It's almost as if he is trying to get people to thank him for taking MJ out of his misery, when he talks about how bad MJs childhood was and how it affected him still as an adult. Murray almost paints himself out to be a hero of some sort because according to him he was MJ only friend.

From LSA:
DO NOT WATCH THIS. Its was so disgusting!

The defense was calling Michael the weirdest guy ever. So inappropriate and rude. I can't believe this is allowed in America!! They showed a part of his room which had baby pictures up until about the age of 2 years old. They zoomed in on a "doll" he slept with and said how strange it was for a 50 year old man to sleep with a doll and go to sleep staring at baby pictures. They were HORRIBLE!!! Murry went on to say Michael would pee the bed. What a load of crap this all was!!!!!!!!! I'm so angry!

Firstly, the bed situation would of been because he was so heavily medicated and those baby pictures were cute and I'm certain were given to him by fans.

Murray can go to hell!!!!

Just went on youtube and watched the doc. And i am thinking, i want people to see this.

This is my first up close look at team Murray, and...... send in the clowns. Now that he has to find new ways to earn a living, there is no shutting up Murray. This is just the beginning.

Re: Murray Interview & Documentary Full Transcripts - so you don't have to watch it

Note: I'm doing this summaries from a low quality recording. There are parts that I can't understand and there are parts I could be wrong.

Transcript of the documentary Part 1

(video of Chernoff opening statement)

(voice over) During his opening statement Ed Chernoff Murray's lead attorney dramaticaly introduced the idea that Michael Jackson took the fatal dose of the drugs Propofol and Lorazepam himself.

Chernoff: What it's gonna say is Michael Jackson killed Micheal Jackson because he was such a ...
Unidentified male : It looked like..
Chernoff: that would look like I was going after Jackson. I need to play..
Unidentified male: I think the whole notion that you laid out with Lorazepam that killed him, I think it went whoosh
Chernoff: It was surprise. They didn't know this.
Unidentified male: So is it okay to go around media and say "you do hear what happened right? You hear what the defense theory is?". Is that cool to do it?

Unidentified male (on phone) : I told you there was a surprise today. Go over the opening of .. our opening statement. you'll know what killed him and it wasn't propofol.

(voice over) From the offset the defense has struggled to get their message across to a hostile media.

Chernoff: The way the media is running this is like as if Dr. Murray came from hell up to earth for the specific purpose of killing Michael Jackson.

(voice over) Conrad Murray's relationship with Jackson began 5 years ago. One of Jackson's security team recommended Dr. Murray - the doctor who saved his father's life. He made a house call to the singer's mansion in Las Vegas to treat his children.

Murray : This is where I met him. I took care of himself and his 3 children initially. Then developed a friendship as of that time on. He could not really enjoy this property. I mean paparazzi was here, fans were around. everyone was looking into the property and we escaped many of times actually in this vehicle. He would climb in the back seat and lay low. we would tell the security team "don't follow us" ????? a little bit. Yeah he liked those risks. I think he kinda ???? it on.

(voice over) With Las Vegas as their playground the Jackson Murray relationship deepened. Murray says he gave Jackson a level of care he never experienced before.

Murray : There was some things that he needed. Personal hygiene changes. Unbelievably he never had a manicure, pedicure all his life. Walking around with painful feet as a dancer. Unbelievable calluses. So I brought an appropriate specialist. He was very pleased of course. It was painful to step and now it was amazing.

Murray : He felt that I was someone that he can trust. All of his life he was searching for a friend. He had very close acquaintances. He spoke about Marlon Brando and his son, Fred Astaire and Ginger. But friends he did not have. He said "All my life I have found one friend which is you - Dr. Conrad".

(voice over) The LA County Coroner ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide. The autopsy recorded an overdose of propofol killed him. The use of Propofol in a home setting is the most damaging evidence against Murray. But the defense believed that the 25mg Murray states he gave Michael was not enough to cause his death.

(video of Flannagen questioning Dr.Cooper)

Flanagan : She will start off with 60 mg. The doctor starts with 25 he obviously wasn't over medicating.

(Murray looking over to some letters)

Murray : lots of encouragement letters.
Chernoff: (to Flanagan) The point is you get the information to the jury. You did it perfectly. I got it. They got it. I saw them get it.

(voice over) Murray's lawyers are now working for free. To save money Michael Flanagan the LA based member of the team and his wife Susan has invited Ed Chernoff to stay at their home.

(Flanagan , his wife and Chernoff is sitting around a table talking. Chernoff is drinking beer.)

Flnagan : everyone flaunts around and there's ??? of hundred cams. She said "What about Michael Jackson is so screwed up?" I said "yeah seen why he needed Dr. Murphy - Dr. Murray. That's what happens when Dr. Murray is not around"
Chernoff : You know what there's nothing with that, you had first amendment right to that. in fact that's fantastic. You just called him Murphy.
(Flanagan's wife laughs)
Flanagan: What is his name?
(Chernoff laughs)

Chernoff: (showing around his bedroom) This is my filing system here. I'm up every morning at 4. I get up to check my emails. I usually get 5-6 emails from hecklers. You know people just calling to tell me I suck. or you know to critique my performance. Win, lose or draw the truth of matter is, this is going to change everything I do from now on. There's not going to be any other case like this.

(voice over) 4 months before his death Michael Jackson pushed for Dr. Murray to close his Las Vegas and Houston clinics and become his personal physician. He wanted Murray to help him prepare for the extraordinary demands of the TII concerts.

Murray: He said "Dr.Conrad I have watched you. I have looked at you for so long". I said "why are you looking at me? What was that about?". He said "I had looked at you because I tested you. You are the one".

(voice over) In April 2009 Murray finally agreed to become Michael Jackson's full time physician. He shut his private practices and moved to LA. He was granted special privileges in Michael's new home.

Murray : I had the entire reign of anybody in the house. The people that would be the house was the children, Michael and myself. The security never permitted to come into this house.

(voice over) There was a second bed chamber and joining bathroom which was off limits to everyone but Michael.

Murray: He always had a chamber that was exclusively his. That chamber was reserved and completely locked out. Not even the maids can go in there. The children go in there once in awhile but they always walked in there to get together. So that was off limits. The bedroom where he slept in and where I worked with him at night that I had persuade him to get it eventually cleaned. Because one he peed the bed, did not smell good, there was mildew and I had to get it cleaned.

Murray : Who would have believed a man his age would still be wetting his bed?
(unidentified voice) : and was that because of medication or psychological problem left from childhood?
Murray: Psychological.

Murray : What is done to him was far more than beating by his father. He harmed Michael. It is so deep that it moved the world from its axis.

Murray : I saw him cry so many times. Told him it's okay to cry. it's okay. It's okay Michael you can cry. It's too sad. The life he had to endure. He lived a life greater than 100 years of pain for any human on earth.

Note: This is the first 10 minutes of a 50 minute documentary.

Dear Idiot Murray,

Majority of adult bed wetting is tied to a inherited sleep disorder that the bladder does not signal the brain that it's full.

Dear Idiot Murray,

I thought that was totally ridiculous and asinine of him! He's not even a psychologist, how is he even qualified to make such a comment? Last time I checked, cardiologists are not qualified to make informed diagnoses in the field of psychology. That'd be as ridiculous as me going to a psychologist and having him theorize on my heart problems.

Moreover, there is no way to confirm what Murray states as true. Therefore, why is it even relevant? I think he's proven himself more than capable of lying in the past. Also, if Michael was being put under with propofol, of course he's going to wet the bed. When you're under anesthesia, you can't get up and go to the bathroom, last time I checked.

And even when you're not exactly under, if you're sedated, you don't have the necessary motor skills to go to the restroom. I know this from experience--when I had my OD, I was so thoroughly out of it they had to put one of those pee things in my hospital bed because I couldn't walk over to the restroom and do it myself.

Murray's a b--ch. He makes me sick.

Am I correct to understand that this documentary turned out to be a complete disaster for the Murray camp and made them look even more repulsive than they seemed before?

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

He reminded me a bit of janet arvizo. The way she was a bit of a whack job on the stand, he was angry, rambling, his arguments don't make sense. He is obviously into himself and only himself.....and the way he made it seem like once he was in he couldn't get out...that's very Arvizo of him.

and michael would have never seen this side of him, he would have been another yes man, being all sweet and kind and caring, you can trust me michael.

did you see him looking around his house when it foreclosed. Looking up at the roof. Poor conrad murray.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

Murray reminds me of Scott Peterson. He acted like two different people, living two different lives to get what he wanted.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

I forgot to mention last night, in the interview before the documentary Murray is asked why he didn't tell the police about propofol. Murray shouts, "they didn't ask me!"

Shortly after, he stormed off and said something like "part 2" (the narrator then says Murray was convicted before they got to part 2). This interview is more interesting than the documentary and is a taste of what his cross examination would have been like if he testified. If an interviewer can make him this angry, imagine what Walgren could do.

What is the general overall opinion of this? I'm wondering what impact this programme would have to people who are not familiar with the details of the trial.

Was the bedwetting statement in the UK version? Based on what I was reading here I have recorded the plus 1, so I may watch later.

Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray admits medical notes error

By Mirror.co.uk 11/11/2011

Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson, has defended his practices in the run-up to the singer's death.

He admitted it was a "mistake" not to keep medical notes, but insisted the absence of notes was not the reason Jackson died.
In an interview with journalist Steve Hewlett, recorded eight days before he was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the star, Murray said: "I think my standards have been impeccable.
"If you tell me, 'Dr Murray, it was really stupid, it was a careless thing, you should have had notes', I'll say, 'You know what? I agree'.
"If you tell me I'm culpable, I want to know what do you mean culpable?"
He added: "I always write notes. The setting in which I was did not give me that opportunity to do it. And clearly I did not. Was this a mistake on my part? Absolutely. But the absence of notes was not responsible for his death."
After a six-week trial, a jury ruled on Monday that the doctor gave the King of Pop a fatal overdose of the anaesthetic propofol.
Murray, who did not give evidence during his trial, said he would never have recommended propofol to the star, and said he was working with Jackson to help him stop using the drug.
"I would say basically it took me a while to take away from Michael something I thought he should not use," he said in the interview.
The screening of the interview preceded the documentary The Man Who Killed Michael Jackson, broadcast on Channel 4 last night.
In the documentary, directed by Tom Roberts, Murray said he was "entrapped" by the late singer in the run-up to his death.

He said he had felt obliged to stay with his patient, who had desperately wanted his doctor at his side.
Murray said: "I went there to take care of a healthy man, who said he was fine, to just keep surveillance in case my kids get sick or I get the flu, help us to choose right, better foods, and wash our hands so we don't get infected. But once I got in there I was entrapped."
He added: "I do not think that he would have had an active intention to do me harm but I think, through his most intense desire to have me there with him, it was entwined with a degree of betrayal."
Murray, who faces up to four years in prison, said his patient thought of him as a friend.
"He felt that I was someone he can trust," said Murray in The Man Who Killed Michael Jackson.
"He had very close acquaintances, he spoke about Marlon Brando and his son, Fred Astaire and Ginger. But friends he did not have. He said, 'Of all my life, I have found one friend which is you, Dr Conrad'."
Jackson was found not breathing in his own bed in his rented mansion after being dosed intravenously with propofol, a drug normally administered in hospitals during surgery.
During Murray's trial, the court heard that the doctor gave the powerful sedative to Jackson to help him overcome his chronic insomnia.
However, prosecutors said the use of the drug as a sleeping aid violated standards of care and that Murray was criminally negligent by using it without proper staff or medical equipment.
Before his death on June 25, 2009, Jackson was preparing to perform a series of farewell concerts at London's O2 venue. For six weeks, as Jackson undertook strenuous rehearsals, Murray infused him with propofol every night, the doctor told police.
The court ultimately found that it was a lethal dose of the anaesthetic, administered by Murray, that killed the pop star.
