We are going to agree to disagree FOTT.

The video taped interview with the producer of the Grammys asked whether he would be performing and he said no. I don't know what Extra is basing 'appearance' on other than he will not be on stage performing as the producer has stated.
 
I believe when Extra said 'appearing' means 'no appearance at all'. Lets agree not to disagree now. :)

I think I already said that. There is no need to prolong it. Not trying to get peeps hopes up here, but we also will report things CORRECTLY here as well, when we know the information.
 
forget about what else Extra "assumes" (or what perez "confirms")- it's the words coming out of someone reliable i.e. Grammy official that we should take the more seriously.

Anyway, why don't we just watch the show on Sunday night and enjoy the T25 tribute? Cause that is exactly what we are gonna see. A tribute.
 
OMG ... i haven't been here in a couple of days now that I'm back I see a thread of 17 pgs debating what "appearance" is or is not...:lol: and if Michael will show or who the surprise performer will be.:lol: :lol:

I will just wait and see as Mello said. :)
 
And I bet even after the grammy some fans still argue :Dthey saw him there even though no one else did.
 
Well...I thought he was actually going to show this year but that's my fault. It is upsetting, but only because I'm greedy and really want to see the guy. Who knows if we'll ever see a major performance again, you know? If not, I definitely accept that because he owes us nothing but it would still be awesome!
 
I remember from the past in some ceremonies they said "Michael won't be performing" and then he really surprised all.. I mean maybe it's not "his performance" but he could surprise all by appearing during some other performance.. It would be kinda weird if Michael just watched people having tribute on him.

mjstar was the source. they claim they were told by sony staff. and considering mjstars credibility.... and what others have said who had contact to the show

like i said earlier, there is ONE performance that NO ONE at the grammys recording bunch are gonna reveal, because theyre billed as a SURPRISE performance.... if it were say Madona (just as an example) they would HAVE to say "no madona is not performing" in order for the "surprise" to be effective.... same for IF (i say if) it was to be MJ... even IF he WAS going to perform, if he was the SURPRISE performance then there is NO way they would reveal that 2 - 3 days in advance!

So either MJ is the surprise like RF says (which would mean Grammys would DENY his performance)

OR he is NOT performing (meaning Grammys would DENY his performance)

Either way, be someone denying the rumour, we know NO more than we did before the queston was asked ;)
 
ok i have a question, first its been reported he is NOT attending and now he is attending(?) but he is NOT performing? So what's gonna be?

I agree. It doesn't matter what they say. If they said he IS performing that would be much worse. Saying that he doesn't perform still leaves for his hardcore fans possibility to think he might perform because they don't believe anything until it comes from Michael. I think Michael's camp would have already announced officially that he is not performing if it's 100% sure because it wouldn't be fair for his fans to be in an uncertainty. If Bain knows what to do she would have announced what Michael is going to do if it was 100% sure.

What does it mean what "reports" are saying.. Usually they report based on what they have heard from someone who have heard what has been said and so on. So Michael isn't source of those reports and technically if Michael would say like day before "I would like to perform in your ceremony" Grammies would take him in no time. Believe it or not, Michael still has panoplies to arrange things that quickly, it's just all up to him.
 
Just for fun, I wonder how many times the words "appearance" and "performance" have been mentioned in this thread....I have logged on to find some of the funniest posts in this last few pages. Michael is sure keeping everyone guessing, but I reckon even if it came from the horses mouth, some fans would've heard him the say the exact opposite!
 
has his attendance been confirmed and his performance denied ? or doth denied ?
