Post intresting/unusual things that you noticed in the movie here.

*During "I'll Be There" when they show him wearing the gold jacket, he is wearing "Billie Jean" style pants.

*During the beginning of "TWYMF", he removes part of his microphone.

*Michael Moonwalks during "Smooth Criminal".

I know this is kinda late/early.
 
The way Michael incorperates his sunglasses in dance routines, like The Way You Make Me Feel, and he somehow makes the glasses shimmy down his nose, then come back up, I thought that was amazing. And the way he takes off his glasses completely during Billie Jean and puts them back on, but he's dancing at the same time, so the movement looks so fluid and natural that you'd think it was apart of the routine.


Ahh, Michael just amazes me everytime. :)
 
I think he takes he glasses off a few times because he doesn't want them to fly off when he moves his head around.

Theres a Dangerous Tour clip from Moscow I think - maybe not from Moscow - where he turns his head and his sunglasses fly off by accident.

I have to say, I didn't think the moonwalk during Smooth Criminal was any good. I didn't think it was even a moonwalk, to be honest.

Did anybody else notice how every time MJ did a James Brown move, they cut to a different performance? That really annoyed me. During WBSS after the 'mama se, mama sa...' section when MJ screams 'hooooo' and the music kicks back in - he started a James Brown shuffle and they cut to a shot of, essentially, nothing. Then he did one during TWYMMF in the pink jacket, but they cut away to a blue shirt clip.
 
do you ever think that that would be the only way to cut it since they had so many hours of footage? Cut together many different performances. It didn't make me mad because i understand that there are hundreds of hours and this was the best way to show off his best moves.

Sorry but i cant be disappointed with TII at all because its the last thing we get to see of Michael. I cant really be disappointed with anything because no matter what we do or say we cant change the past. I am satisfied with ever little Michael related thing i get because i know that it was the last thing he did.
 
I was surpirised how normal and different his speaking voice sounds. Like it wasn't MJ.
 
I noticed that after he complains about the ear monitors after 'I want you back' and kenny aks him to tell them if it feels better and Michael never put them back in.
 
I noticed it looked difficult for MJ to do the "side walk" maybe it was the floor? it wasn't smooth.. and there wasn't much of a moonwalk either!
but oh well :D everything he did amazed me.

Yeah, I noticed that in the cinema. I was like "Ahhhhh damn, why are they switching to another performance where he's doing simply nothing"!... :(
 
The angle was very bad. The should have shown it from the front instead of the side. The rest of the performance was from the front.
 
Yes, that's true :( It was such a strange angle, since the moonwalk is The Move! The angle just disturbed me a big time... Wonder why they decided to shoot it like that.
 
well ish happens. Some people aint happy with it and thats what i was referring to. I would have loved it more if TII was happening RIGHT now but it aint and this is the gift we were given. TII would have been KILLER this is a REHEARSAL its not going to be perfect and Michael knew that. What we are seeing isn't what would have happened LIVE. But thanks to 1 man we will never get to see it. So to those who are annoyed or angry with the way this movie is cut or edited. Please keep in mind that this was never meant for our eyes. Michael would have NEVER wanted us to see "This Is It" This way. He would have wanted us to see it how he saw it. Live, Finished and perfect! There is no point in getting annoyed or angry with it, it doesn't do any good.

I absolutely agree! :)
I'm not angry with the movie, I'm just angry because of what happened and angry of course to this one person (probably) who made all this...!
 
Anyone notice how he got the lyrics a little bit messed up in I Just Can't Stop Loving You?
 
I accepted that there were no moonwalks in the film as soon as I saw his shoes! You can't moonwalk in them plus he's done the move a million times-he knows how to do it! I noticed the inner ear thing too-he complains but never puts them back in. Michael Bearden mentioned that it was a fight to get MJ to wear the earpieces as he hated them, with Kenny telling him he had to as the sound of an arena is different to that of a stadium. I don't know why he worried-I've been to the o2 numerous times and the acoustics in that place is phenomenal. Mike would have sounded amazing!
 
its still boggles my mind that some still cant enjoy what we have been given. they always have to find fault with it just to bitch about it.
 
Tell me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I've seen it but I think I saw a little moonwalk in BJ. If I remember it was just like one or two steps back but the light was in the way and it was shot from the back so I couldn't really tell. I might be wrong though...

Yeah, that's probably what I'm thinking of :). It's been so long that I'm forgetting things, need to see it again! :lol:
