No songs from Will.I.Am - "I’m not gonna release it"

I want.. I want.. I want..me...me...me...

ever thought of the fact that Michael might NEVER had wanted these songs or other unrelaesed songs and demos released??? two friends , enjoying bouncing ideas and creating music just for the sheer joy, with no pressure from ANYONE, just having fun?? Just cos they were recording stuff dosnt mean that it was for any specific purpose!!!

'I want, I want, I want'........just like old times, seems like nothing has changed much.

Again, all that is required is for the people in charge or who MJ worked with to keep Michael's wishes present in whatever decision they chose before releasing any product. I would hope that he made some clear decisions as to what he wants done with his music once he was no longer here.

This Is It is a clear example though of why some of you all may just get what you want, 'cause was'nt it said by Janet and others that Michael would never want that footage released as it was just rehearsal footage for his private use? they made a movie out of it, so, they may just release unfinished work too just to satisfy you. Its not like MJ's wishes at times were always honored.

That Will guy is just an attention seeker, he should've kept his mouth shut in the 1st place.

Look I got all these MJ recordings and I "might" release it in the future.
Oh no, I'm one of Michaels best friends ever so I'm not going to release it after all to stay true to him...........

Re: No songs from Will.I.Am - "I’m not gonna release it"

I love "Fall Again" a demo track he did with Robin Thicke...And I am glad MJ released it despite the fact that you can hear him talking to the producer on the track.

You can hear him talk on that song????...where bouts??

he could release them online and make them available to fans for free. if he doesn't want to capitalize on them that is

Will I am is great person and this interview with him makes him very sympatically

anyway I really would like to hear the work from MJ and Will!!!! :/

Like other have said, Fall Again, In The Back, Dangerous demo were all released officially by MJ. In The Back doesn't even have proper lyrics apart from the chorus, just MJ saying "da da dada da da" over the track lol.

I think Will I am is great for saying he wont release them Michael wouldnt want un finished work of his to be released. If it could be released for charity it would be a completely different story.
And he should realize that the fans want to hear what they can from him, finished or not, it shouldnt always be thought of as other people making money of of him even though sadley thats what most of it is, we just have to try and benifit from it and not think about the people who dont really care!

Re: No songs from Will.I.Am - "I’m not gonna release it"

Totally disagree.

All of the songs Michael was working on including ones with Redone and Will.i.am should be released for charity.

Imagine how many copies a totally new Michael Jackson album would sell. It would be a hell of a lot of money for charity put it that way.

Guys... for charity..., for Haiti...., come on...

In the first place, there are Prince I, Paris and Prince II.

To be honest, I am fed up with all the charities and all the stuff.
Michael left 20% of all his earnings for charity, thats more than enough.

Re: No songs from Will.I.Am - "I’m not gonna release it"

The record companies don't care about that. Look at all of the unreleased material released after the deaths of Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Tupac, Johnny Cash, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Marvin Gaye, and many others.
Yeah well, but Will I Am seems to have a heart.

Now, i cant deny i would love to hear Michael's work or something, but WHAT if Michael would have considered it was NOT GOOD??? then i say is right. well done Will.I.

but i do wish i could hear it though...

but then i mean Michael was beyond perfectionist may be it was really good, but to Michael standard was not, idk...

But its all up to them, so i cant say anything...

Thank you Will! At least one person who respects and understands Michael's wishes.

Well did anyone think that Michael wouldn't have wanted those rehearsals of This Is It made into a movie and released either, especially without people seeing the actual show...Yet we have people praising the people who released that.

Michael released demos/unfinished tracks himself. New music should be released so Michael can live on. Though people need to be careful on which tracks, of course some weren't released in the first place because Michael didn't think they were good enough. The money should go to the estate if not charity, this is how the estate can carry on earning for the children and the future generation. This is what the estate plan on doing its written in court documents.

Completely agree. They all should be released with "demo" mark
I'm so hungry for Michael's songs :(

Why are you all so happy about this. Has the idiot ever heard of a thing called charity i am fuming. Michael didn't randomly decide to work with him for a laugh, he could have spent that time with his kids. He chose to work with him to write fantastic new material for his fans to hear so william can stop acting like it was never gonna get released cause if its fantastic then it probably would have been. To me it just looks like he is laughing in the face of the fans.

He better at least release the earlier stuff from 2005/2006. They worked alot together at that time.

They first met in 2006 and recorded most of their collaborations at that time. Further recording sessions took place in LV in 2007.

We're happy about it because, there's finally a major musician who actually cares for Michael and how he felt about things. As stated before, he has Michael's wishes at heart, Michael released demos and unfinished songs, but the releases came years, and years after the original recording. You never know, maybe Will.I.Am will change his mind later on down the line, but I respect the fact that he won't try to exploit Michael, like every other company seems to be doing. And I personally, am happy with the collection of music we have, and I can live with it everyday until my last day, so I find it kind of harsh how you proclaim that he's an idiot just because he wants to hold on to what he has, for Michael and for himself.

Re: No songs from Will.I.Am - "I’m not gonna release it"

They will be releasing new material regardless. The estate already have plans.

I'd rather it be recent stuff than something from decades ago which MJ put in the bottom of a box and had no intention of releasing, proven by him not releasing it all his life - aka the This Is It single.

well exactly, this is the thing. And the stuff he was working on with will was modern dance apparantly. Exactly what i wanted to hear. The new album will probably be 70% soppy ballads

1) Well did anyone think that Michael wouldn't have wanted those rehearsals of This Is It made into a movie and released either, especially without people seeing the actual show...Yet we have people praising the people who released that.

2)Michael released demos/unfinished tracks himself. New music should be released so Michael can live on. Though people need to be careful on which tracks, 3)of course some weren't released in the first place because Michael didn't think they were good enough. The money should go to the estate if not charity, this is how the estate can carry on earning for the children and the future generation. This is what the estate plan on doing its written in court documents.
1) Exactly

2) yeah but they were Cheater, Monkey Business, Scared Of The Moon, Streetwalker just to name a few, some of the BEST, Michael was a PERFECTIONIST. (it should be marked as DEMO at the end of the song (the list of songs), Michael would have done it that way, he did it that way before)

3) As a fact Michael didnt wanted You Rock My World to be realeased as a single, he wanted Unbreakeble (it is said), but he agreed against his will. That person on Sony SHOULD NOT BE THE ONE IN CHARGE NOW (of deciding what to do) that person obviously didnt had a good vision. It has to be someone with good taste, no, better said SENSE, cause taste is NOT THE WORD....

An album full of Lost Children type songs will only sell to die hards, not really anyone else. Since Sony is trying to make money, I don't see that happening.

If Will thinks the songs are bad then he shouldn't release them, but if they're good, whats the harm?

i wouldn't bet against it, i really wouldn't. The man has died, there gonna wanna tell a soppy story cause thats what they do at sony. Just like when someone wins the X factor they always have a ballad as the winning song, cause they have gone on a journey. Michael ain't here no more, so they will probably try and release some slushy 'epic' job, cause in my opinion they don't have a clue what sells
