This does not suprise me at all...Oxman is a Moron....if he cannot do this one simple document right what does that tell you about the rest of lawyer skills...ewwww scary.

I want someone in the Jackson family to proceed with a wrongful death law suit but Oxman should be out of the picture.

With oxman as your lawyer this was never going to be treated seriously. I'd be a tad worried if my lawyer couldn't even fill in a form correctly.

I'm not even following the news on this anymore..i simply don't believe justice will be done. Justice would be Conrad behind bars, not gonna happen though...and this is all gonna take so long.

I agree that we must need to keep the faith.

It's also important to know and remember that outcome of a civil wrongful death suit can only be giving the affected parties monetary damages. Justice of Murray being behind bars can only come from the criminal trial.

Practicing law is a pain in the ass, and Joe Jackson's lawyer is living proof ... because he literally broke his preparing legal docs in the Michael Jackson wrongful death case.

Attorney Brian Oxman was walking down a flight of stairs last week with his MJ appellate brief in hand. The brief was in response to the judge's threat to toss the wrongful death lawsuit because certain things were not alleged as required by law.

Oxman was going downstairs to hand a brief to the messenger ... when he slipped and fell down the stairs and badly injured himself, forcing him to ask the court for a delay in getting the documents to the court.

For anyone who has practiced law, it's a metaphor for the ages.

but then, is he telling the truth? i remember reading that if joe and oxman dont come up with some documents in a certain amount of time, they will cancel the lawsuit or something like that.

That's the point TMZ is making. They are basically saying that he's coming up with excuse for late submission/delay.

I remember he was sent to the hospital in the MJ 05 trial! But, it's not like they needed him any way! He fell asleep most of the damn time...:doh:-_-

But, never the less I hope he is okay!:yes:

Information comes out in a civil trial that would not come out in a criminal trial. Murray has to testify for example is my understanding. That would be very interesting.

Joe Jackson has re-filed his wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray -- and now claims Dr. Murray and AEG staged an intervention with Michael Jackson one week before he died.

According to the new documents, Dr. Murray and representatives from AEG went to Michael Jackson's home on N. Carolwood Drive on June 18, 2009 -- and said they were there for a "drug intervention."

The suit claims during the meeting AEG demanded Michael "stop seeing Dr. Arnold Klein and stop taking the drugs Klein gave to him." They wanted Michael to "take only the medications being given to him by Conrad Murray."

According to the suit ... the intervention was intended to get Michael to adhere to Dr. Murray's drug regimen so he could get more sleep. AEG thought Michael was missing rehearsals because of medications from Dr. Klein and other doctors.

The suit also alleges that in the days leading up to Michael's death it was apparent he was getting weaker and weaker, at times seeming "drugged and disoriented."

The upshot of the lawsuit -- the intervention and general concern over MJ's drug use is proof Dr. Murray had no business administering Propofol and other drugs to the singer and that Dr. Murray knew he was playing with fire.

In my opinion, Joe Jackson is grasping at straws, just like Murray's attorney's are grasping at straws trying to come up with a viable defense.

Oxman was denied the first time around, so now he has CHANGED the story. LOL - typical!

This new argument is also flawed, in my opinion, because how can AEG be giving Murray directions, in a sense telling Murray what to do, when AEG NEVER PAID MURRAY A DIME!

By AEG's own admission, they NEVER signed a contract with Murray and they NEVER paid any money to Murray.

Sorry Oxman, once again, you fail!

He really should. The entire thing is just so embarrassing. Joe Jackson CONTINUES to throw Michael under the bus in order to obtain a few dollars. The whole thing just makes me very sad.

I'm "guessing" that Oxman will have to come up with a THIRD theory for this lawsuit, once AEG comes in and states that they NEVER staged a "drug intervention" with Michael Jackson.

You also don't stage an "drug intervention" by telling a person not to take drugs from one doctor (Klein), but it's alright to take drugs from another doctor (Murray). Where's the logic in that?

I mean, isn't the point of a drug intervention to get a person off of drugs - COMPLETELY.

One more thing:

Now that Oxman and Joe Jackson have DRAGGED Klein into the wrongful death lawsuit fray. How long will it be before Klein pops-up to add his 2-cent. LOL!

Just when we thought we heard the last of Arnie Klein, Oxman and Joe Jackson drag him out from under the rock he has been hiding under. You just can't make this stuff up.

Prob because they know Klein is just about ready to get it from the medical board for using an unknown alias. Klein would be smart to keep his mouth shut seeing how the DEA is still looking at him
