Her films overall have been great though she knows how to pick good projects. I LOVE Poectic Justice. NPII was shit but still did well for her and WDIGM was suprisingly good. Can't wait for the part 2.
 
After MJ's passing I've been hearing this song ALL the time.

Never knew this was a JJ song before AMA 09 when she sang it at the end of her performance. I've started hearing a lot of JJ music after MJ's dead actually.

Surely MJ has learned her all she does. Her dancing is very very MJ-ish and her sound has a MJ beat to it. It's great. When other singers do this it annoys me, but when it's family it's ok I think.

Remember in MJ Up Close and Personal when he said JJ took his moves and ideas and used them in Rhytm Nation? You can see that easily. She is a great great dancer.
 
Janet is waayyy better than singers like Britney. JJ acually CAN dance and sing live at the same time. JJ is great live.

I think she can do all three well and is a triple threat. But I will say that I can never forget her as Penny in Good Times. I remember watching her scenes and she was so believable. I don't think there are too many people like myself who watched that show back in the '70s and don't immediately think of Penny when Good Times is mentioned.

I think if she chose to pursue her first love, acting, she'll do just fine.

Janet was one of my favs during the R&B 90s, but I never saq any of her movies except Poetic Justice, therefore, I can't judge on her acting. I heard nothing but good things. Even though she doesn't have avoice to blow you away, she always put on a great show. I vote for dancer..
 
I love her voice. Range and versatility are OVERRATED.

I prefer her as a singer, especially with those background vocals making the tracks so luscious.
 
Her voice is average but she does have SOME nice songs where her voice stands out. Shes a great dancer and a above average actress. I prefer her as a dancer though
 
I voted for dancing.

About her singing, I know singing is not always about belting out and being a powerhouse. She won't take you to church for sure. That's her style I know. But even with that style, her voice is too weak and stiff as in there's a limit to what she can handle in terms of just getting the job done. She does carry a tune with what she got as a vocalist, but that's all. Aaliyah is much better among the female entertainers with the similar type of singing.

Acting...I don't know what to say, really. I enjoyed Poetic Justice, but I don't think it was Janet that drew me to watch. The main attraction was Tupac.
 
I only know her best for singing, so I chose that. But I saw Nutty Professor 2 the other day and thought she was a good actor in that :) love that film!
 
I Think that Janet is a better dancer than she is a singer, but I do think that she can sing..what I like about her voice is that it's versatile..
 
She's very talented, along with the rest of the Jackson family. It's hard to say what exactly she's best it - she's a little bit of everything, in my personal opinion.
 
You know I don't get why people think Janet is a bad singer
of course she's no Patti, Diana or Whitney but I think Janet's voice is good, it's whispery and soft but it's a good voice, she doesnt crack, she's not pitchy or off key.

Her acting is good too, she was awesome in "Why did I get married" and "Good Times" I never cringed at her acting skills.

Anyways I think Janet's dancing outshines anything else that she does, she's a good singer and actress but her dancing is insane and so intense, it's what all of us young ladies after her want to live up to (of course it won't happen.

I do agree 100% about her being a triple threat :3

Janet is awesome and I think she is the best female entertainer that ever lived and she's a sweetheart, I adore her just like I adore big brother Michael

Singing, although this was a hard poll, because she's good at all three.
 
The Jacksons are just a very interesting clan when it comes to determination. I mention this first before responding about Janet because I think when they embark upon something, they do everything they can to master it and be the best.

To me, Janet is best at dancing because it's physical and with a lot of work and effort, the results can be astounding. Just look at what happens with contestants on Dancing With the Stars. And I remember it being said Marlon was not particularly good at dancing. But he worked so hard at it, that he became one of the best in the group.

With singing, you can put all the effort in the world into it, and there is just so much you can do to become the best like a Whitney.
