It's GREAT to see him again

Michael looks adorable. People shouldn't worry about his weight. He's naturally just got a very thin frame. He's always been very skinny. But he looks fantastic.

And that naked lady at the end, lol. She was so upset! haha.

Reclusive Michael Jackson parties with Britney and Fergie... but refuses to sing

Michael Jackson disappointed celebrity fans over the weekend when he took to the stage with a microphone - but refused to sing.

The reclusive singer made a rare public appearance at Ed Hardy owner Christian Audigier's 50th birthday party, which was also attended by Britney Spears, Stacy 'Fergie' Ferguson, Pamela Anderson and Snoop Dogg.

The 49-year-old singer joined birthday boy Christian on stage at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Hollywood to say a few words about the designer.

Silence on the dancefloor: Michael Jackson took to the stage... but only spoke at the party, much to the disappointment of guests

The celebrities and fellow guests whooped with joy when they heard Michael was appearing on stage.

However, their excitement was short-lived when Michael simply said "Hello... Christian is the king of fashion", before retreating off the stage.

In contrast to the famous females' slinky dresses, Jackson looked out of place in his unusual combination of wet look trousers with a military/royal-themed blue satin shirt.

One reveller told The Mirror: "Everyone went mad when he grabbed the microphone. The mood was electric.

"But sadly there was no impromptu gig. It was a shame because he looked in pretty good shape. He was obviously just putting in an appearance for his old pal Christian."

Jackson made the whistle-stop visit to Los Angeles from his base in Las Vegas.

The Thriller singer has been residing in Nevada's Sin City since last year with his three children Prince Michael, 11; Paris Michael, 10; and Blanket, six.

Meanwhile, a chic-looking Britney was escorted by her father Jamie Spears and agent Jason Trawick.

The singer appears to have turned over a new leaf following her recent fashion mishaps and cut a sleek figure in a black bandeau dress and Christian Louboutin high heels.

While Michael failed to sing, former The Black Eyed Peas singer Stacy 'Fergie' Ferguson happily performed to the celebrity crowd.

Newly-single Pamela Anderson was also in attendance in a miniscule grey lurex dress, but unwittingly flashed her knickers at some of the crowd when she stuck her arm in the air on stage with Christian.

Reclusive Michael surprises celebs feting designer-to-the-stars

Adding even further impact to weekend party performances by Black Eyed Peas beauty Fergie and I Try star Macy Gray was a surprise appearance by Michael Jackson.

The famously reclusive Billie Jean singer took to the stage at the 50th birthday celebrations of Christian Audigier - the French designer behind fashion label Ed Hardy. And the excitment among the pop legend's fellow guests, who included former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson, Snoop Dogg, and 'American Beauty' Mena Suvari, was apparently palpable.

"Everyone went mad when he grabbed the microphone," reveals a fellow guest. "The mood was electric!"

Also helping Christian celebrate his milestone birthday at LA's Petersen Automotive Museum party was Britney Spears. The 26-year-old singer, who was accompanied by her father and a couple of gal pals, stayed for an hour and a half, but had left before fellow chart topper Michael put in his unannounced appearance.

Man, Michael really looks great.

Those reports are so typically bogus, by the way. I'm sure Michael never agreed to sing.

Well it could be worse. They don't say he agreed to sing and their desire to have him sing is encouraging. I only saw one article that referred to it sneeringly as his 'comeback'. Overall the news was treated positively.

I find it stupid that everytime he makes a public appearance it's all of a sudden an attempted 'comeback' as if he can't just enjoy himself anywhere.
