Can somebody write the options what to do with the rescheduling dates in terms of booking hotels, flight tickets..., if its possible to cancel them, change them, sell them to someone... or simply any directions!!!???

sorry Dutchie but they knew all along madonna was there on the 4th and 5th i am going to her show on the 4th. Its bull Aeg are takeing us for a ride.

Are you trying to tell me that they have only just thought after all these months oh i think its going to take over three days to sort everything out bull

yeah same here... i am really pissed... i waited for it so long and now this?! i am afraid that he will postpone/cancel the other dates also. the terrible thing for me is, that all the other people will say now "see, we told you that mike will not do the shows." something like that. and i am still pissed. even after this night!!!

It does not make sense to me that if they needed time prior to the opening date, that they overlooked booking those dates. They are supposed to be professional right? How could they overlook not getting into the 02 on time?

How could they put off so much to so late?

The guys looked ashamed when they were answering those questions. Like they were embarrassed for having to explain the screw up. Well I don't blame them. I'd be embarrassed too. How awful to find all this out after seeing the hyped up audition tape and hearing them talk about how wonderful it is going to be. I don't need to hear that. I am happy for those fans who still get to go and the amazing concert they are going to be able to witness. Congratulations. Honestly I am happy for you. Please remember those who had to sacrifice their chance at seeing this, plus a whole lot of money, so that the rest could have a perfected show. (I know this comes across as bitter, but it isn't meant to. It's meant to be sincere...though now that I am writing it out, I do feel slightly bitter come to think of it. Aw well. I will get over it. MJ's concert isn't the reason I am living and breathing. I've missed out on lots more than just this in my life...)

is it normal I have not received any mail about this from ticketmaster (I have a ticket for the 14th)

surely these big airlines can transfer the tickets to another date, they are not loosing any money if they did this, like dutchie said, surely they should have looked at the calander and sorted ou all this before they even announced the concerts, and why can,t the 02 arange all the other artists stage rehearsals abit earlier, like madonna i don,t know to much about her,but couldn,t she do her rehearsal earlier as she is already in the uk as far as i know.you will probably all disagree with me,but something could have been worked out to fit round all of this without making these drastic changes.

and as for kenny working on some other project surely they could have started without him,

i know where you are coming from,we need to pull together on this one,
bloody hell my dates have even not been altered but i would even offer to work voluntary to get this show on the road seriously.to save everyone all the heartache,

I posted this before:

I advice everyone to check with their travel agency or airline what the conditions of the flight are. Some airlines allow changes on the flight, for example for $50 or $100. Other airlines don't allow changes nor cancellations and will charge you 100% of the costs, meaning you have to buy a new ticket.

As far as hotels; if you've booked through a travel agency there will be costs. Changing is often cheaper than cancelling so try changing first. If you've booked directly through the hotel, see if they can cancel without costs. Most hotels do this, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Hope that helps!

What I am still angry about, by the way, is that Michael is letting all of this happen.
To an extend, I understand they need the O2 arena on the specific dates when Madonna and other acts are in there. I understand that Kenny Ortega can't find time in his schedule to prepare the show (actually...scratch that. I DON'T get that).

I'm looking at #1MJstan's signature where you see Michael go: "I'm tired of you messing with me!! Stop it!" ....why the hell didn't he say that now, and stick up for his fans? This is something that should not, and can not happen. If you plan a show, you look at the calendar, check everyone's schedules, check the O2 schedules, and THEN you announce whatever you are planning. THEN you start tickets sales.

Blah. I'm still angry even after sleeping on it

lol@Dutchie... If they changed my concert date, I would feel the same way.. All of you have every right to be upset, especially when money is involved. It's not like some of us have money coming out of our a$$e$ so whether we spend $1 or $10,000 on tix, hotel, and airfare, the ppl that bought tix for those dates that have been rescheduled have a right to rant and rave, cuss and fuss, bitch and moan..

Let AEG change the July 28th date, mark my words:
THERE WILL BE SOME DAMN SMOKE IN THE CITY!!!!:evil:

Yes we all know that things get rescheduled and stuff, but it seems like AEG put this out there before actually looking at the big picture.. I have seen MJ twice in concert and take my word for it, his production is nice.. Yes you get your $$ worth and I am sure none of us would want to get a half ass show, because then we would be really bitching on MJJC.. Hell we bitch about what he is wearing, why he is always wearing sunglasses, or not releasing statements about the lawsuits he seems to constantly have filed against him, so we all know damn well we would RAISE HOLY HELL if we got a show that looked like he was only given $5 to put 2gether..

Now do I agree with the ppl who bought tix for the 10th/12th to have to wait damn near a year to see him??.. HELL TO THE NAW!!! (LOL)
That is some shady shit right there, come on now AEG I am sure you can find 2 days this year that are free to have those shows take place.. That press conference was so half assed... Since you want to joke about the concert grossing the same amount as a small African country, then you need to offer a coupon or something to those ppl flying into London for those shows that either can't get their hotel/airfare $ refunded.. I say spend some money and rent out a few hotels for those ppl and offer them a room there for FREE....

@Ape, I really hope you and your kids can get things worked out, and for them to see him perform... I hope everyone affected gets to see him...

@Glanni, I believe he is,, that is what is posted on the O2 site.. but hell the way things are going m maybe Neyo will be willing to change..

blah what a mess... :(
and today`s economic situation isn`t allowing many to just change flights and all from one minute to the other...

i cant believe it. this will be another big catastrophe... for us or for the Neyo fans....

BAD organization.

I don't like to shoot down brainstorming because maybe there is some solution to this somehow using volunteering. I would imagine if it is to set up or take down a stage, there would be insurance problems associated with volunteers working on it. Plus if it is putting up a set, it has to be precise and perfect and too many people not knowing what they are doing could ruin it or make it unsafe. But I do like that you are trying to come up with other solutions.

I still have to go to bed but don't really feel up to it.

Thank you. I am between wanting to do what I can to make sure we don't miss out, and not caring anymore about it. Sure I really do want to see it, we all do... but what good will come from me spending so much on this that we are put in a dire financial spot by doing so.

I really gotta get myself to bed. 3:16am

AEG are responsible, and they should do something to compensate people, they can afford to.

Sadly Michael will take the flack for this and the media are already jumping all over him and doing the 'I told you so' bit, and maybe they are right. This is not good, after the blunders at the WMA, Michael's professional reputation is being attacked and possibly damaged.

I don't blame him, but he needs to be more hands on and make sure schedules are going to work before he goes any further.

i know that was a silly idea i thought about that afterwards, another idea i thought of is setting up a thread in this forum where we can all post ideas about things for example emailing the 02 ,emailing other artists camps who are playing at the 02.emailing airlines ,emailing hotels, aeg ,everyone, what do you all think shall i make a thread?

By the way, just wondering about something: where is Michael? Why aren't we hearing from him? Why isn't he reaching out to the fans that are affected?

A big fat apology is the LEAST he could do, right now. I understand the decision to postpone wasn't his, but it's his show and we are his fans, damnit!

I will put this to the ozzie thread as well..

If any ozzie fans impacted by the 2. 3. 4 show reschedule please drop me a PM..
I used to work in tourism and in the UK might be able to help you with advice when it comes to hotels reschedule etc...

sorry folks, I cant help more but I wish all the best for those impacted...

That's what I still don't understand either. How could they overlook booking REHEARSAL dates at the O2? They aren't amateurs...or are they? And yes, they did look a bit embarrassed. They should be too. Obviously SOMEONE screwed up when planning dates. I agree about not needing to hear how amazing the show is gonna. Sounds a bit "funny" to go on about how AMAZING it all will be when you know that at the same time thousands of fans are losing their savings and WON'T see the show because of all this. It's kind of like going "OMG, the show is going to be SOOOO amazing.....so sorry you won't be able to see it! Ne ne ne ne neee neee!" You know like, "It's gonna be a ONCE IN A LIFE TIME kind of thing....oh...wait...you won't see it. I'm so very sorry. Not." What I also find sort of "funny" (in a bad way) is that these concerts are the FIRST ONES they sold tickets to. All from the PRE-SALE...all tickets bought with codes. All tickets bought by die hard fans who were dying to see Michael. And now many of those won't be able to see MJ at all. And that is very unfortunate. VERY unfortunate. And then considering the "max 4 tickets" rule together with all this kind of makes me laugh (in a bad way).

I personally am going to have a nice vacation in London, regardless. I can't cancel because I won't get a refund, so I am gonna have to go, so I'll make the best of it. This is London we are talking about....I'll find things to do. I still have my ticket to go see Lion King and maybe I'll go see some other musicals now too. But what comes to the rescheduled concerts...."This is it" for me. I won't be going. I don't have money to book flights and hotels AGAIN. I'm not that rich. So I am giving my three tickets back to Ticketmaster. I hope the one concert I have a ticket to in August will at least go on as planned.

I agree...I kind of am missing SOME sort of statement from Michael. It would have been nice of him to say SOMETHING. But the lack of comments on his part makes me think that maybe he is pissed off himself? Maybe he's like "YOU guys screwd up...so YOU go tell the fans they will lose their money and not see me in concert because of YOUR mistake"? I guess that's possible. But whatever the case, at least some sort of note from him to fans would have been a nice gesture...

Summer, we should get together and do something fun while there. I believe we'll be there at the same time. Let's go have fun! k? (maybe we can get some eggs together and .. um.. practice our pitching..lol jk ) Maybe we can sit outside the 13th show and cry together. lol. Or we could just forget about MJs concerts and do something totally unrelated. We could try to talk the royal guards into escorting us to the front row of the conce..oh, back to that again am I? Bloody one track mind I have tonight ;)

I agree...even posting a few words on the concert webpage would be a really nice gesture..
especially as you pointed out summer loads of fans who have been waiting for it tried to secure a ticket for one of the first 10 shows..
and now they are being pushed back to the end of the line...think they got the news in March and now they have to wait till next March...that is 12months! (a year!!!)

That is bad... feel sorry for the people who got the earlier dates. I was welll pissed off that i didnt get thoes dates and i was trying so hard, got up well early and the site was going down constantly. It happened for a reson for me i can see that now

so... it doesnt bother AEG, MJ or ortega one bit that many, many fans won't be able to attend the rescheduled shows?

All I can say is...I feel sorry for all the people who are affected:( It breaks my heart to read what some of those wrote:( Don't even know what else to say.
