Those comments people left on Just Jared are so ridiculous. Like I bet half of them would wear the clothing line once it comes out. Obviously MJ isn't going to design these bizzare military jackets and crazy weird design shirts for the general public. I imagine they will create things like a cool white t-shirt with a vintage MJ pic with the sparkly glove on, things relating to Thriller, Beat It jackets, and maybe even something brand new? You never know. Like these idiot people who leave messages dont even give it a time of day. Their opinion extends about as far as a cardboard box..."Michael is weird...he molests children...he looks ugly"...Like they remind me nothing more then ants in an ant hill...doing whatever the queen ant(media/government) tells them to do. God help anyone who dares to think for themselves.

Peoples, MJ would not release a clothing line at this time if he was not planning on releasing it durring the same time.. the clothing line is a good way for promoting himself and his name (brand)....

It's all to support the new era

That would be really cool but didnt he have a perfume range before that flopped? Images of an MJ clothing line and flopping are haunting me, maybe he should stick to music which is what he's best at :p I have to agree I'd like a new album more!

This is sooo exciting! It would be cool to have an affordable line that the everyday person can buy. Like have it in H&M stores or even Macys! But also Mike can have the expensive stuff for celebs and high rollers. I think this is wonderful and MJ should just go for it! and don't worry about failure...he is about to be 50 years old why give a sh*t and just take a chance! Do what you wanna Mike!! lol

And the new album is the main entree!!

Anyways, this sounds sooooo amazing, and I can't wait to hear and see more. I really hope this idea sticks and doesn't fall through! Michael has so many great ideas, and I'm sure his clothing will be great. I'll but everything, I swear! lol Please make women's clothes, which I'm sure he will...And please don't let a shirt be 1000 bucks...lol

Who's this insider? Why can't they name sources?

Michael Jackson is a trend setter, he's fashion is iconic and for decades people have copied his sense of fashion and fashion designers have been getting all their ideas from him e.g: leather jackets etc

So... there is no way Michael is gonna flop! lol

I hope it's true aswell! If I remember correctly Michael was supposed to launch a clothing line of tuxedos (I think) in the 90's. I wonder what happened to that. But I sure hope Michael does launch his own clothing line, because I know he's had an influence on fashion as well as music :yes:

True. And a grand opening in 3 weeks time should have had an official invitation already. We shouldn't be hearing it from a wesite at this late stage. I do not believe it. Somebody is making a cock and bull story.

BRITNEY SPEARS and MICHAEL JACKSON's favourite designer, CHRISTIAN AUDIGIER, is in negotiations to open a nightclub in Las Vegas.

The Ed Hardy clothing line chief is to take over the Tangerine nightclub space at Sin City's Treasure Island resort, according to TheVegasEye.com.
Plans to turn the spot into a tattoo shop and nightclub collaboration with Pure Management and Miami Ink have fallen through, according to the website, and now Audigier is stepping in to take over the space.
Sources claim Audigier will create a nightclub and a new Ed Hardy store at Treasure Island.
If the new club/store project goes ahead it's sure to be a star-studded affair - Spears and Jackson both attended the French designer's recent 50th birthday celebrations (23May08).
Jackson is reportedly working on a new clothing line with Audigier.

that's what MJ should be doing. constantly innovating. the other day i was thinking, michael's used music video in the 80's for thriller to its full potential. what's another dimension that MJ can capitalise on? and integrate it into the entertainment industry? looks likes its going to be clothes.

What's innovative about starting a clothing line? Lots of celebs have one. Jacqueline Smith, Snoop Dogg, Russell Simmons, T-Boz, Diddy, even Raven-Symone.

Have to share this because I found it funny. ;)

On my way home from work today, I was listening to the radio and in their news clips they mentioned MJ starting a clothing line. Yeah they made one joke about it being a children's clothing line but the other ones on the show were like "that was to easy of a joke, I expected better from you". So the DJ goes something like:

"The clothing line is going to be so technologically advanced that if there is something wrong with the outfit or it doesn't go together .... (song clip plays) Keep It in The Closet"

LOL
