Hmm...I think its friggin bogus that fans who think this is sad is being talked down upon. A wrong was done to MJ and if that wrong wasn't done, none of this would be in discussion right now. If INJUSTICE wasn't done, this would be a non-issue. I think it's bogus that people feel it's silly to find something a LITTLE wrong with that, despite how MJ "MAY" be happy now (who the hell knows how how he's feeling really), despite how MJ SEEMS to have moved on or whatever, despite those who for some odd reason despise or detest the "heal the world side" of MJ and want it gone.
People can say on this board that MJ can't sing anymore, that MJ is too old to do this and that, and no one says a dang thing. But when something like this raises negative concerns, oh, then those being so called "negative" are in the wrong. Are u kidding me?
Whatever. MJ let it go, I'll let it go, and yep, I'm gonna pretend everything about that is fine and dandy. Happy days.
I really DO hope that MJ really IS happy with this, and I really DO hope that the axing of Neverland doesn't represent the axing of some of the ideals he held close to him.
Change is good and moving on is never a bad thing.
I feel you J5, and I agree with you. People should be more understanding of why this might be upsetting to some. I totally accept and respect Michael's decisian, but like you said, it's WHY this happened that upsets me. If he hadn't been attacked and abused there like he has been, then he never would have sold it, at least, not like this. He wouldn't feel negatively towards it like he does now I assume. I think Michael probably is content with the decisian and hasn't lost his ideals which were represented by Neverland, but it's just the injustice of it all that's upsetting.
I hope he does NOT make a statement.. Only for ONE reason.. It adds fuel to the Rumor that Mike is broke.. You know as soon as the media gets a hold of this, it will be mentioned.. NOW if he made a statement, it would add MORE to be used against him..
The media would twist it
But if it were SOMEHOW magically given and ONLY to fans, lol! than YES!
Sycamore is a joint venture between Michael Jackson and a division of a company called Colony Capital. Colony Capital owns the Las Vegas Hilton, the Red Rock Country Club, and other Las Vegas properties
The man behind Colony Capital, Thomas Barrack, Jr. is a Vegas mover and shaker, and there's a buzz in Vegas that Jackson could end up performing at the Hilton and living in the Red Rock Country Club. In fact, we reported this earlier in the year.
So now, Neverland is owned by both Jackson and Barrack's company. Will Jackson perform at Barrack's hotel? Stay tuned.
I have to say that it REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!!:ranting I cannot believe that Neverland is renamed Sycamore. They renamed the ranch Sycamore? Now because of this, my wish, my dream to visit Neverland Ranch is now dead and if it wasn't for the LADP and the accuser, not only that they failed toruined Michael's life, but they successfully destroyed Neverland and my wish to visit the best place on god's great Earth.:tickingtimebomb
For the record and my final note to this news, I AM DEEPLY PISSED & OUTRAGED!!!:tickingtimebomb
It's totally understandable why this would be upsetting to some.
Here is a support thread to vent emotions about this (just be respectful and supportive, not attack).

Yeah, I saw that Victoria. Thank you.
It's nice to know Michael has moved on and it's obvious he's happy now.
while the Sycamore Valley Ranch LLC was set up back in Delaware, records show an address in Los Angeles that happens to be identical to that of the offices of Colony Capital, the company who is reported to be holding the gigantic mortgage on Neverland Ranch.
