US artist Dan Lacey has created a bizarre collection of Michael Jackson tribute artworks including this oil painting of the King of Pop in the nude.
Lacey has churned out more than 70 pictures since MJ's death last year – including several nudes, a work showing Michael ascending to heaven, and one that shows a childlike Michael hanging in the afterlife with a winged Tupac.

Lacey, whose oil paintings take several days to complete, hit headlines last year with this surreal painting of President Obama riding a unicorn in the nude.

Wut the? Not the fact that he's nude, but the pose etc...shock value?
 
I agree, most of his paintings are WTF, but there's one that I really REALLY love and would even buy it and put it on the wall in my apartment

Very Interesting. Is it getting hot in here or what ? I mean that 1st painting.OW. I think the Painting with Michael's spirit coming out his his body is very true and realistic because when I dreamt of him before he passed away. I saw Michael as he was in the 1980's. His original self with the Gericurl and so it was like he was telling me,Remember me as I was before I was with the change.
 
im not crazy about the pose my self but he did draw him beautifully.... and TII is right... he had tiny nips lol.
 
somehow though i don't think Michael would approve though... I mean he loved art and this is art but i'm saying he wouldn't of approved of the pose... seems to me to be a bit private...

And, uh, interesting pose for Michael there, ahem ;) I've seen the one of Jesus pulling him out of his body before and for some reason it just strikes me as creepy, lol. Well, to each their own. The closeup one of Michael ... there's another with a crown of "thorns" made of crystals/rhinestones on his head. I'll see if I can find it online. Edit: Ok, I don't know if it's an authentic Dan Lacey painting or just inspired by him. It was labeled as "inspired by Dan Lacey". It's beautiful and heartbreaking, though. Don't know for real who the artist is:

Am I the only one who finds that painting hilarious? As I've stated before though, for some reason I find it quite awkward to think of Michael in a sexual way, not sure why.

Eep...this doesn't seem quite so art-y to me but more like a stunt to get attention or something. Awkward posing indeed... kind of funny and kind of just...weird. Probably meant to do that though...for the 'shock value' and attention grabbing.

Not to knock the artist but, if someone's gonna paint Michael nude it should be more tasteful than this...IMHO.

I saw the Jesus one sometime around last year, I really like that one.
 
I have to admit when I first saw this thread I was like ''naked pics of Mikaa? :wild:, then I was like nahh not on MJJC '' :lol:
