Amazing track. Totally unexpected direction. The "don't pay attention to anything you see in the news" they put in the beginning (that's Kanye West from the "Runaway" music video btw) makes it sound like the girl left him because of his legal troubles. Depending on when the song was recorded Michael probably didn't mean for it to be related to that at all, but I still thought it was a powerful effect.

When MJ got it copyrighted it was 1981..not sure if he re-worked it though.

I LOVE this song so so much. Michael's vocals on it are absolutely incredible, ( as always) but there was an awesome part to how he changed a note in his throat, nr the beginning of the song that just melted my heart :wub: :swoon: but also made me cry. :boohoo

dear Lord, don't let the Kanye part in the start stay in the song. it is the only thing that ruins this perfection.
btw, I am sure this is not from 1981, it must be 1990something, or even later.

It's still up there, and yes it's sad that it's leaked but that shouldn't stop anyone buying the album still. It's a lovely track, it's very like the carpenters actually, and a nice way to end an album like this.
